Jonathan Kuminga shot 12-of-19 from the field and 1-of-2 from the foul line in Thursday’s win over the Knicks, accounting for 25 points, eight rebounds, two assists, two steals, and two blocks in 30 minutes.
Kuminga continues to flourish in his third season, averaging career-highs in points, rebounds, assists, and blocked shots. He has scored at least 19 points in three consecutive games and failed to hit double figures just once in 15 outings in February. While his season-long value remains outside the top 150 in 8-cat formats, Kuminga has been a 10th-round player over the past month. A lack of production from beyond the arc has been his biggest issue in category leagues, but Kuminga has been a top-50 player in totals over the past month.

That tip pass to Podzemszki on the steal into the fast break dunk is all you need to see to know he's got it. He gets basketball now. Kuminga has figured it out. I'm so happy we've got these kids coming up

He just has rare natural strength. I saw some offseason training vid where his trainer had to stop the drill cuz Kuminga (very casually) slapped his arm away and the trainer was like "wait...that hurt!" He's kinda like a boxer who naturally has heavy hands. Some people just have that raw power.

Kuminga is an NBA bucket and he's only 21. He could get an MIP in two years, and maybe an MVP before his career is over. I'm excited to see what he turns into.

@@yoooo6896Makes me wonder if Podz is Kerr's illegitimate son 😅. Moody is better in many ways and yet Podz get the minutes. If JK commit one mistake he's off to bench but if it's Podz, doesn't matter whether he contribute or not, Kerr will still give him the minutes. Crazy ain't 😅

@@monkboy4628 Nope all the analysts expect it to be 30-40 million a year. He is also a restricted free agent, other teams can outbid the Warriors and they will have the money to do so. Golden State either pays or he walks. He is the reason they’re trying to get under the luxury tax. At their current payroll, they couldn’t sign him if they wanted to.
