I'm truly happy for this kid. He could jump out of the gym like many young guys but if he is putting in the work plus IQ. If he can keep learning form the masters his future is unlimited.

As much as I'd like to see Kuminga's mid/long range shooting improve, what he brings to the Warriors team with his driving, slashing and dunking ability is something they haven't had for many years offensively. More importantly, he also doubles as an awesome defender. I can't believe he's just 21 sheeeesh, great job on another solid pick Warriors.

@@Pun116 a little more consistency would be nice. Let’s see what he’s got in the bag this season with Klay out of the rotation. I have no comment on Wiggins lol

And believe this: He is still holding himself back in trying to “honor” his vets. The Warriors need him to be who he is. If he has a crazy playoff run, a few trades later the Warriors will win it all next year.

Kuminga was one of the biggest prospects in years. He was the number one player in highschool in spite of being one year younger than the guys in his class. He went to Ignite and everyone kind of knew Green would be the star because of his style but he was still a huge prospect. He was compared to Kawhi Leonard. The reason he's in this situation and seen as a sleeper is because he failed to be a star out the gate like he was supposed to be. GS should have gone with Franz Wagner who they were heavily linked with on draft night. He'd have been perfect for them but Kuminga just didn't fit. He does now because they have to use him because they are bad.

JK has the potential to be in the James Worthy- Dr. J category. As frustrated as I am with Kerr sitting him for so long, he's learned to be an all-around player, already ahead of Worthy and the Dr. on defense... and he's only 21

@SplashMadness5 ай бұрын
I was saying these at the start of his career. His driving capabilities are on par with LeBron James along with his athleticism. The way he bullies his opponent on the post or in transition, it's like a mini Lebron James. And also the way he fades away in the post, it's the same with James. It's a matter of time before his IQ will be developed but overall, the Warriors have a beast to unleash when the Big 3 retire.

I live by this., The best thing JK did and for this GSW Team, was him calling out Steve Kerr and basically forcing his hand to play him. Period.

Every warrior fan knows it’s Steve Kerr fault bad coaching Steve ker deserves no credit he the same guy passed on hali and ant man he told ant he doesn’t work hard and kuminga still gets benched for playing good but a guy he loves like a below avg player like podz leads the team in minutes sad
@dennisking74695 ай бұрын
Exactly. Kerr was a hatter!!
@B_Ltes5 ай бұрын
Steve Kerr has made some very questionable decisions, that is true. But to be 100% accurate Anthony Edward’s was already drafted before the Warriors could have even picked him, and there shouldn’t be an issue with Kerr telling him he needs to work harder because Edward’s basically agreed and did work harder after. That’s actually good coaching. Also, with Halliburton Kerr loved him when a lot of people didn’t, but for the #2 pick that was a stretch. I think they were thinking about trading down for him, but at the time he would have been killed for that pick, and plus that was more on the GM.

I am a warriors fan and I do not agree with this shit take. Calling podz a below average player is nothing a warriors fan would say.
@B_Ltes5 ай бұрын
@@liddmusic4438 I didn’t even notice that part! Definitely not below average and the Warriors stars love him. He plays the game the right way, and could be a very good piece going forward. I don’t know if he should be getting more minutes than Moody, but he deserves minutes and makes winning type plays.
@Hassengee5 ай бұрын
@@liddmusic4438 he not a scoring threat teams go directly at him all the time successfully he good for a charge but the point is he goes all in on him but made kuminga, Poole, moody, wiseman sit on the bench at least 2 years showed no confidence which could stunt one’s growth or kill their career curry is who he is today because mark Jackson confidence in him curry time won’t last forever and the warriors gotta move in a different direction we needed a bigger lineup fuck these guards rn the league not small
