As a big VGK fan since 2017 if Jonathon Marchessault dosen't sign with the Golden Knights I can definitely see him signing with the Rangers But 80 percent of me thinks that the Golden Knights are going to give Marchessault a big payday Con Smythe Trophy winner last year in the SCF & means alot to this team & to the city of Las Vegas in general and is a original Golden Knights Misfit

I don’t see the rangers making any big signing this year with Igor and lafrenier being free agents next year. Maybe a guy like tafolli or duclair to play on the top line rw, but guentzel or anyone they’d have to pay 8-10 million a year is out of the question.

hes 33, he is turning 34 in december. i think getting him will be an improvement in the playoffs, because thats what the Rangers need. He should cost between 6-7 million a year with his new contract. The Rangers should not pass on him

Running out Chytil, Brodzinsky, Wheeler without giving Edstrom Othman Or Bedard a look was poor Management of assets ! Knowing Trouba was hurt, Lindgren had a cracked rib and not dressing a 7th Dman, knowing Trouba was in Penalty mode , and dressing Jones was even worse

How is another small skill player going to help a team that needs more grit and toughness. The Rangers have skill, that is not their weakness. In 94, we traded guys like Amonte and Gartner to add grit, and won a cup. Gartner was already a star, Amonte was a star on the rise.
