A couple weeks ago I laid down some beats for German rap artist, Gringo, and producer Goldfinger in Orange County, California. He wanted the "Billie Jean" beat for the track mixed in with beats from "Who Is It". You will see me playing the grooves to the two iconic MJ songs but also exploring ideas and playing around with a variety of similar "MOFFETTIZED" grooves!

This gentleman also, without even knowing he did so, proves a point, a belief, that I've held for a long time. The MOST supremely skilled folks are, also, the most down-to-Earth and plain-spoken folks. No self-aggrandizement, no boasting, they don't NEED to waste their time flapping their jaws, that's not their style......they just let their skills do the talkin'. They can do it, everyone knows it, and that does it. Jonathan, bless you, you are an inspiration.

This will probably sound crazy but I found you on here purely by chance...I, like many before me, simply could not resist KZfaq's 'Granny playing drums to Disturbed' recommendation and it was because of that recommendation that I came across your work. I clicked on Smooth Criminal and I honestly didn't even notice any of the written info provided by you and those you were playing for...I just started watching and I swear I got chills. I almost had to put out a search party for my jaw because I couldn't locate it once it hit the floor...It was after the song was over that I scrolled down and read about you...I can't play music very well, but I can damn well recognize phenomenal talent and quality of sound. Sir, I don't know if you will see this or not, but I just wanted to say that watching/listening to you play was/is truly art in motion. Thank you.
