Safety ALWAYS come 1st. It MUST be a riders number one priority to keep themselves & other road users safe & sound at all time. Yes, every now & then we all have a crazy brain explosion, but try to think well ahead before you leap. Stay safe guys .. Nick from Aus🙏

I love speed and im 6' 195lbs and 47years old been riding bike for little over 1 year. however going 38~40mph going down is fun but if i dont know the road conditions i slow the hell down knowing u hit a rock while turning u will slide... 1 sec thats all its going to take for you to crash. Hope everyone take safety more seriously and always ride safe so u can have more fun rides 😄

It's just a matter of riding ethics. Not only was he putting his life at risk & the drivers', but the riders behind him. Cycling with others is a game of situational awareness. You have to be conscious of not only your own self, but those around you. I feel stupid even having to type that out.

I've often wondered if Strava has had lawsuits similar to what Niantic had when Pokemon Go launched? Niantic was forced to change their tracking system because kids were blindly stepping out into streets to cross roadways with eyes glued to their phones.

Sitting on: riding close to your back wheel to get towed by your draught. Half wheeling: riding beside you but half a wheel length ahead. As you pull level they go faster. Before long you are racing. Anything else?

@@Iseekoutthetrails If you go OTB on a road bike you're not going to talking about it for a while :-) Keep asking. Some lingo transfers. A bunny hop is still a bunny hop. Some is obvious. Some things have multiple names, eg Sit on = Draughting = Getting a tow = Following a wheel

If you came here to assert dominance or tell someone what to do because you feel smarter than them somehow, find a comment section who cares. Jon is just trying to keep us safe by sharing an experience. If you have nothing valuable to share then go to a porter potty and drop comments there.

djee... Making a youtube vid out of something like this... It's bad what he does but to make a full vid with the 2 of you, while you keep repeating the same... Let the guy do dangerous things, his risk, his reward or accident. I wouldn't care less. ps: the pick-up braked because of the slow car in front. He could even be annoyed and honking at the car (as in: if even a cyclists passes you, why don't you go faster). You think Safa is awesome, and while some of his rides are truly awesome, he has footage on his channel that's 10 times more stupid than what you showed in the clip above. Double standards pretty much.
