Hi my loves!
A lot has been happening since my last vlog. It's almost summer now and the nights are light from the midnight sun. Everything is blooming and I am spending my nights awake to not miss a second of this beautiful time!
In this video I share a little bit of everything thats been happening lately. We celebrated 1 year living in our house, and I also filmed the whole weekend now at the end of May, so that you would have a little glimpse into our everyday life right now.
I really hope you will enjoy the video!
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR WATCHING! ♥

You capture the same lake every time yet we see it in a different stage, season, moment. Never the same. Thanks for not moving past the beauty of it. To actually sit down and wait for change in the air, to admire its beauty over and over, every time just a little different. Seeing your life we learn not to move on in a fast paced society but to allow ourselves to breathe and watch things slowly grow into new life. You are a rare treasure that we value.

It's beautiful being in such nature for sure-I lived in Sweden many years, but the truth is to attain their simple life in Sweden calls for many complex and remote systems to be in place-an army of poorly paid workers who can never have a simple life like that because they work 12 hour days in sweat shops to manufacture the expensive cameras and lens, the apple computers and all the other computer hardware and accessories, the studio and music equipment, the two cars they drive.... the wealth of the global North depends on the poverty of the south and all their raw materials and workers. That's the elephant in the room no-one really talks about. Jonna and her hubby seem like lovely genuine people, but let's not kid ourselves about what it takes to attain this leisurely simplicity where they can have the privileged life of spend hours looking at nature and filming it.

@@greenknitter ; My dear, that`s obvious..Still.. looking at the struggle of Jona, her live and the choices she and off course Johan made.. There is a lot to learn for either the North and the South. Either of us has a choice. Yes, also when you think there`s none to be made. And..I`m sure you recognize it. Just a few years ago Jona just simply did what everybody want to do. Step out or fight. In Jona`s early blog you can read about this. It wasn`t simple or easy. Also Jona and Johan try to maintain their lives as fair as possible. I think that when you have good ideas about how to improve they will certainly listen to you. So keep your spirit and your hopes up!

@@barbaracharlotteakkerman6003 Obvious to you and I perhaps, but never acknowledged or spoken about on this or any other similar channel. Choices-yes I have choices because of where I was lucky enough to be born-Ireland, a wealthy first world nation. Much of the worlds population have no choice whatsoever and every day is simply a struggle for day to day survival. Probably much like how Jonna's ancestors would have lived 400 years ago eking out a life in those harsh conditions. Choice is for people who have access to resources, education, and any income left over after basic needs have been met. I know what she did wasn't simple or easy, I've been following her channel for a while and read her blog and I genuinely admire her determination and courage to do what she did. It would have been easy to stay in Gothenburg and have a "comfortable" life -I lived there for 8 years and it's a great city. My point was simply she had the good luck to be born in a country that made her drastic life change possible because of the iniquities of capitalism and globalisation. I think it's important to acknowledge and discuss that. Hah, I doubt very much they would be willing to take on board my ideas for what I believe is slow sustainable, independent, off-grid living. It's a work in progress for myself to extricate myself as much as possible from the hamster wheel of capitalism, wage slavery and dependency on outside resources and industrial society, and apart from not being wage slaves any longer they are not intent on going that far anyway clearly. Which is their choice and I respect that. I like her channel and learn from it, and wish only the best for them both. My spirits and hopes are always high because I follow a plan. A roadmap for getting to live the life I want and so far it's working. :) I wish the best for you too in however you wish to live your life. If you're interested in watching a role model of mine for the way of life I aspire to and work towards have a look at a well known writer called Mark Boyle and how he lives in East Galway. @@alukard5445 sometimes you feel drawn to things that you wouldn't expect, some may be confused why this one thing may get someone so focused of what they want in life. For example, ever since I was a child animals, especially dogs and cats, were my main thoughts and they still are, I know no matter what I do I'll always come back to them and they are my light, they give me joy and they are my life. Some things in life come to you and you just want them so bad you know what you want, then you remember the amount of work it takes. If you are so sure you want your dream to come true and you will do anything to get through it, then go for it and life will give it, it may take a lot of time and effort but I bet you, it'll be worth it

It really is the most beautiful and special place and I always read the comments from all over the world about how people wish they had the same. If you want the same you need to think of the bigger picture, which is over population. Too many people is why we are destroying the earth, these special people have no children and if they do in the future I cant imagine it will be many, if any. The earth is a beautiful place and if we want to undo the damage thats done we must have a vision for the future to protect it and that these very few places that are left wont be gone forever.

Isabella Lundvall Its okay, I get it. I have that feeling sometimes too. The necessity for distancing has caused such a deep feeling of separation and loneliness for me too, and I think everyone is affected by it. And then someone like Jonna makes a video like this and those moments of watching nature has such a beautiful effect on the heart. This video made me smile so hard, I just couldn’t help it. Finding things that force you to smile is very relaxing and that eases the stress which in turn makes the day go easier, don’t you think? Yes!!

I decided a long time ago to leave "this life." and to enjoy my life away from the madness that seems to permeate most areas of this country (USA) now. The less people, the better. I might not be able to be as far away from it as I would like, but I have my own sanctuary and so can you. It starts with exiting that negative society, leave behind all those that would fill your space with negative energy and sever all ties with anything that doesn't suit a peaceful existence. American society is a toxic waste that I flushed away and decided to refuse to be a part of.
