This wood slab was buried and forgotten. I took this hidden secret wood and turned it into a $7000 dream desk. This live edge slab walnut desk includes a continuous grain tambour door. The desk sits on a Fezibo sit stand desk base.

The author does like to from scratch, kzfaq.infoUgkxbnOKZBE4evMO5V2vroHeCjq6d_MV6wJO shaping and trimming wood from large blocks into fine finished products. As another reviewer mentioned, most projects require a lot of high-dollar equipment that most of us don’t have the room or budget for. But, knowing how to do these things, even if we won’t be able to practise the full stack project, is still great.

It is a very good book for beginners as well as for those that are already into kzfaq.infoUgkxTNB_zFBSnTo_O1PqfVUwgi7ityw0JlKt A very good basic ebook to keep as a reference too. I like it and the way the subject matter is presented. It has humor and that helps with the reading.

Stand up. I’m a 30 year master cabinet and furniture maker. Retired now and have a small shop. But if I had opportunity to own a cnc, you darn right I would. Having high tech equipment does not make you less of a woodworker. I think it makes you a well rounded woodworker who can adapt with technological changes in the industry

If you're using that jig to cut the bowtie inlays, you can always cut the bowtie with the CNC and have it round the corners to match the router bit. It'll avoid the extra chisel work to clean up the corners.

There were two way you could have still used the off cut as the top of the monitor stand. You could have filled the messed up rout with epoxy or other wood and recut it. Or you could have milled it down to 1/4" or less and used it as a veneer on the top. It still looks good with those other boards but it isn't quite as nice as it would have been. As far as bow ties go I don't mind them as long as they are not over used. Since that is an epoxy table I would have only used one bow tie on the larger cracks then filled the gap with epoxy so the whole top is solid and free of voids.

your electrician is verry bad at it if he tells you that you don't have 3 phases Y because Y or delta is just a way to use wire with 3 phases. it's just the diffference in tension between 2 phases or between a phase and the neutral.

Such an incredible build Jonny ! The wood and your choices with bow ties are amazing. I am not a woodworker; however, I am a mixed-media artist and sincerely appreciate all that you do in your work. I had no idea that one could create artistry in wood the way that you do. It is nice to know that there are woodworkers in the world like you that can do with wood what others have told me couldn’t be done. I know that technology helps it along, but it takes the Artist in you to see what is possible and then create it ! My hat is off to you and your amazing work ! 🙏

Jonny there’s not one of your videos that i have yet to be disappointed with and to be honest i dont think you ever will disappoint. Your work is absolutely amazing. I wish i could afford to do this type of work cause videos like your inspire me. I dont have nice tools like yours but i think i could make something nice with what i have just cant afford the wood especially since i have three boys that all play sports. What i would do to live close to you to try and purchase your scraps. I tried with 2 wood workers that live close to me and they pretty much told me to go buy my own from a wood yard. I was just hoping they would sell me their scraps for a little cheaper then the supply yard but was discouraged after that. Anyway sorry for insanely long comment. Let’s all STAND UP to Jonny builds for not disappointing yet again.

I think I like when its kept subtle, using matching wood.
