Well you nailed it. My replacement speakers came today, it was an older Samsung plasma, but the install was pretty much the same and it's now working.

Shit if I know, that's a question for Mr Spok. I doubt these have any reason to store enough energy for a serious shock. An air condition compressor, absolutely..not these though. Just touch the speaker parts ..the rest is grounded metal. Nanoo-Nanoo 🖖🖖
