Your complete guide to unboxing, setting up, using, and storing your new HOTTAP Outing kit. It includes helpful tips and mentions some handy accessories.

It appears I was sent the GASKNECT gas hose, but it doesn’t fit. Very frustrating because Joolca support seems not to be available on weekends. I really need to troubleshoot what my problem is. Maybe I have a faulty connection?

Just placed order for 3x reach extension hose. can i connect these together to extend it to 98 ft to a stream as advertised in the joolca videos? i bought the outing kit thinking it comes with the reach extension hose but it did not. if i am able to connect 3x of these hose together, will i still get normal water pressure coming from it?

Good question! You're right, you can extend the hose to a maximum of 98 feet. However, the pressure will decrease. For the best performance, we recommend using two extension hoses max (65ft). This ensures that the HOTTAP will work across all flow settings. 🙂

Can you run soapy water through it? my kids would love that!

I don't think that would be an issue! Just make sure to flush it with fresh water every after use. 🙂

The HOTTAP is for outdoor use only, but you can quick-connect the hoses indoors.

Can you connect the pump directly to the shower head ? Assuming one doesn’t want to use the hotap

Yes, you can! You can connect the read shower hose to the pump's water outlet. 🙂

How to drain all the water from the unit ?

You can disconnect all the hoses from the HOTTAP. Tilting it from side to side will help it drain faster. 🙂

I bought this in 2021 and just used it for the first time.😮 The pump stays pumping regardless of the head swithing on or off. Also i get no warm water. Can you help?

will the hot tap ever work with plug in power instead of batteries?

Hi! For now, only batteries. We are working on a 12V power port to replace the batteries, so please keep an eye out!

@@jimenasaravia6883 It's working better now after working thru some issues but they are helpful and sent out parts fast.... You need to keep it on full heat in colder weather and the flow up to have decent pressure. The shower head is weak as well and pivots around to easily when holding it causes water waste. Its fails to ignite the burner often and you need to pop the battery holder out and click it back in then it fires.
