Once Wicks, Reed, and the new TEs started finding their groove, the offense really took off. The first 6 or so games where the only real targets were Doubs, Heath, and Toure was tough to watch, but eventually those guys played well enough to push Toure and Heath down the depth chart.

J. Love according to reports all the Receiver's went every Monday evening to Jordan Loves for a cook out. Not expensive but for fun. Brett Favre's took the O line out for dinner 1 night a week. Never heard what Rodgers did if anything in his 15 seasons as the starting QB.

In a couple interviews Jordan's done since that report, he was asked about it, laughed & clarified that it wasn't every Monday. It was just 2 or 3 times during season. Bo Melton was hyping up his QB and his comments were exaggerated by reporters.

Rodgers had teammates to his home all the time and would take linemen and receivers out and had a game night with his guys. Cobb and David b and rob tonyan. This Rodgers was a bad teammate is stupid! You can be happy about Jordan love and also be happy we had Rodgers for 18 yrs. You can do both

@@mitchy3438I am a life-long packers fan of over 50 years! I won't be putting Aaron Rodgers the pedestal! He blew it! Skipping the meetings set up for him to have some input, after he cried about having no input! Not even having the common sense and respect to let coach know he wouldn't be showing up! Refusing to alter his game to get better hold and understanding of Lafleur's offense which took off like a rocket with a very young offensive core. According to reports Rodgers acted like a spoiled brat. Then the mind game's causing issues within the organization and team. He's already is playing the mind game's within the Jets organization. He thinks he is all it! He's no Brady! His chances of winning another superbowl are in his past. I don't think he's even close to Brett Favre.

Love still has to demonstrate that he has the ability to play clutch QB when behind and needing a score in late game situations. He faltered bad in the fourth quarter against the Niners with two poor interceptions and the second one he threw on a 1st down across the field where there were three red jerseys and no open receiver. He had a minute left to go get a field goal by throwing safe passes and should have thrown the ball out of bounds or ran out of bounds. It looked like he forgot it was only first down and needed to throw a desperation type pass…which ended the Packers season in a terrible interception. That’s the concern I see with Love. Clutch play, game time management…when the pressure to win the game is on. Purdy did it going 6-7 for the go ahead TD, while Love played poorly late in that game under pressure. The question is…does Love improve in clutch time or not in 2024?

He led late 4th quarter comebacks against the Panthers, Saints, and Chargers this year. He scored the go-ahead TDs against the Giants and Broncos late in the 4th quarter, but the defense collapsed in both of those games immediately afterward. The Packers were a missed chip shot FG away from not needing a 4th quarter comeback against the 49ers. Everything he did was fine this year. The coaches just need to tighten the screws on the defense and special teams.

@@TheAndyk123 - the defense sealed the Chargers game and all those teams were weak anyways. It’s the good defenses in the pressure filled playoffs, like the Niners, that he has to show he can play winning football late in the game. He had 1 interception in 10 games previously but in the 4th quarter, when his team needed him to play good, he threw two careless picks and sealed the game for the Niners. I still see that as a need growth area for Jordan and practicing the two minute drill under pressure should be stressed this pre-season.

Detroit's window closes after this season when they have to pay Goff, Sewell, and St Brown. Those 3 contracts are gonna devastate the rest of the roster. It gets even worse after '25 when they have to pay Hutchinson and Jameson.

Jordan Love had an excellent first starting season... 372 completions out of 579 passes, 64.2% completion PCT, 4159 yds passing, 32 TDs, 11 INTs... was better than Jared Goff's first starting season with 296 completions out of 477 passes, 62.1 completion PCT, 3804 yds passing, 28 TDs, 7 INTs.
