I run a work program for young men coming out of prison for violent crimes. Tryna get them back on track . We did a meditation session today and i put this on at the end. The amount of weeping and crying was incredible. So much healing being done is just overwhelming to be around. Ive been crying all day. Thank you so much ❤❤❤

I'm just going to take a moment and be 'That Guy' here and I'm sorry. As a man who has tried to end his life multiple times fighting through wars both externally and internally and going through the constant battle of being manic depressive, I thought I really could only find moments of peace by working two jobs to try to keep my mind busy but I was wrong. I've only discovered you on Spotify a few months ago, and haven't even heard of (or even thought of listening to) most of the folks you do this with. I'm sure I'm not the only person you've helped. Thank you. The messages you bring across and emphasize.. the tracks you put them on.. It's super rad and you have pulled me out of some dark places. Needless to say, I've been relentless about sharing your music to everyone that I know, doing my part in trying to make the world a brighter place.

The Sufis say that crying is a call out to God. Especially when it's onset is sudden. And I feel that with Meaningwave. Your music does that with me. It touches a piece of my soul, and it helps me on my path forward towards constant improvement. I realized that the contents of the song (both musically and spoken word) are usually telling me where I need work. And I hope I don't sound too extravagant in saying this, but for me the listening experience is something akin to a rendezvous with God. I was about to sign up for Masters Degree in Health and Wellbeing 2 years ago. The bus was delayed due to weather, so I logged on in the library and heard one of Akira's JBPWave tracks for the first time. It was "The Wave". I signed up to the course the next morning. My mums good mates husband sent me 12 rules for life the book, I knew about jbp and the book, didn’t read it, he sent me a text a few weeks later asking about it , I replied with a link to this video he then said he listened and it was the first time a KZfaq video bought genuine tears to his eyes 😢
