"The Silencers" are the antagonists from Mylo Xyloto, a comic book created by Coldplay in 2011 for their 5th album. The Silencers are against all color and music, so the story's pretty basic. BTS, Coldplay, Supernova7 (alien band) & DJ Lafrique unite to fight against them! "The Silencers" could represent Racisms, Covid, borders, or anything else that keep people apart. Love the word play at the end "WE ARE ALLONE (alone) IN THE UNIVERSE". is actually "WE ARE ALL ONE IN THE UNIVERSE". That really feels like an RM word-play to me.

I’ve been dying to ask this question since you pop up on my YT timeline. When did you start editing professionally? How long have you been doing it? What made you pursue this career/hobby?

I don't think that was a mistake with Jin when they transition from Coldplay's "planet" to theirs, as they boys regularly run around behind the cameraman to come up on either side of whoever is singing center at the time in video shots, there's too many of them to do otherwise. When they pan in to the face and then back out gives them the time to do it. You see it all the time in BTS' videos, especially the one take mvs.

Chris Martin is not standing infront of a green screen. This was filmed on an abandoned place, The Pool of Castellnou, in Rubi, Barcelona, Spain. Those are real plants spray-painted in different colors to make it look alien.

Total ARMY here, but BTS wasn't what all of us were here for as you said. I've been a Coldplay fan for more than 20 years and first saw them in concert in 2003. They're legendary and were making music as a band before JK was even born.

The set Coldplay was on was actually a real set, not composited. Its an abandoned swimming pool in Barcelona, they only added in taller buildings on top of the existing ones. All plants, grafitti, etc was reallt there. Only due to the lighting it seems like its animated, but it isnt There was a whole behind the scenes on how they made this videoclip including photos, written in a blog, but it seems like they deleted it. Probably because they want to release a behind the scenes video for it still.

I love how the problem with being able to perform together due to the pandemic lent itself to an amazing storytelling opportunity.

If there would be a second version of the mv, “My Universe”, the second version should go like this……. (if there wasn’t any COVID) *Opening Chorus* Chris Martin/ Coldplay The music video starts off in grayscale with the same message that was at the beginning of this concept’s music video, then the mv would have shots (close ups and panning) of various members of Coldplay on the stage getting ready to perform in either the Wembley Arena in the U.K. or MSG in NYC/ USA, then the mv would cut over to various (close ups and panning) shots of BTS on stage in the Olympic Gymnastics Arena in Seoul, South Korea. The mv would cut back to Coldplay in the Wembley Arena, a mid direct face shot of Chris Martin, who opens up the song with the opening chorus, during that open the camera view digitally zooms out at moderate speed revealing the rest of Coldplay behind and to the sides of him. *First Verse* Chris Martin & Jungkook Jeon As Chris Martin and Jungkook sings the first verse there would be a cut (3 camera angle views) of two separate arena employee's at their respective arena's concession, who happens to clean up the counter of the concession stand, as they are cleaning, they hear Coldplay and BTS perform, so they drop everything and goes to see what is going on in the main area of their respective arena, they smile as they see BTS and Coldplay peform, they would pull out her mobile phone to go on social media and livestreams to her friends the impromtu Coldplay concert, which the livestream spreads from her friends to people the tune into the livestream, which the mv would cut to various people dancing wherever they are and making their way to the arena. *First Chorus* Coldplay & BTS The mv would cut back and forth between BTS and Coldplay as they perform, the use of various drone and panning shots would be used. As the second chorus is performed, there would be various shots of BTS and Coldplay performing on stage with interspliced cuts of fans running towards the arena, getting to the arena and entering it. I would also never forget to have shots of both Suga and Jhope performt their parts as well, along with various shots of the fans. *Final Chorus & Final Post-Chorus* Coldplay & BTS There would be various cuts of BTS, Coldplay, the fans and regular people from around the world dancing to the song, celebrating the message and spreading the love to one another, by dancing with each other. There would be some slow motion shots as well, as the song ends abruptly, however there would be shots of Coldplay’s Chris Martin turning around to look at the his LED back screen to look at BTS, which then cuts to BTS who returns the look back to Coldplay, they smile and nods, they turn around to bring the song to a crescendoing end, by Coldplay performing harder and BTS dancing and have 3J dance a choreographed dance. The mv would officially end with the same concession stand employee separating themself from the crowd to send out a mass message through social media, that message would be the same one in the official lyric video “We are ALL ONE in the Universe". I think the story of this MV might have another part to it. It seems like with this new Coldplay album it's a concept album, and this song is the second single. So it may feel slightly incomplete because i think the lead single Coldplay released early has an MV that comes before this video (i haven't watched it so i don't know for sure, but i know the new album is a whole space theme).

You know how, in some video games, you have to pause to supercharge a weapon before you unleash all its power? The DJ smashes that button, but that isn't when her ship takes off. Instead, that's the button to begin the supercharging sequence. All the bands create an explosion of music which stuns The Silencers, because they are not accustomed to so much sound. This gives enough time for the hyper-drive (?) to build up the power it needs. The DJ has helped the bands, and now they are helping her by providing a distraction. She knows when the engines are ready, and gives us one last look to say, "Now watch this!" Or is it, "I'll be back!" before she whips the ship around and escapes. ✨💜✨

I think Chris being darker than the background was done on purpose cuz u can see in the 00:43 minute of the mv (also in the 00:50 minute) there's a line separating the two levels of luminosity which may be due to the shadow of the silencer's ship which is above them, that's at what Chris is might be looking up... This cooperation between BTS and Coldplay is really amazing to me. It shocked me like a planet impact!! What is the concept of cooperation between two top bands??! 💜💜💜 Sure enough, when I listened to this song for the first time, m it met my expectations. The cooperative song is still disco type, but it also has rock elements. It is also an 80s retro single, and the production is top enough. Actually the members were behind the camera! We already saw this trick in Save me for example. They run around behind the camera to pop up and make it seem like they weren't there. It's a really normal trick for BTS.
