I'm really hoping with the unreal 5 swap they can play with things more. I really think boost strength getting a 1.2-1.3 increase would be great for the game. 1. Right now your first touch and jump are the most important factors 2. It costs so much to get to full speed and to adjust aerials 3. It would speed up recoveries and dodging ability for demos and lengthen the reaction window for shadow defense I played a bunch with friends on 1.5 and it was a bit too much, but clearly more exciting and fast paced when going back to standard. I bet if we let the community decide with trial and error they'd fall on a prefect balance of power to total amount in the tank. Also when playing the knockout game mode, dodge animations were quicker and it was really weird at first but really went to show how slow the game is in standard with the boost, dodge, and ball speed. It felt like playing on the moon by comparison.

Let’s assume in a 5 minute game 6000 boost is used. A gamemode where you have only 6000 boost (or less) and there are no boost pads on the map. If you run out, you run out for good.

The Middle East (which is where rw9 is from) has made a huge splash in RL in recent years. This region has produced some of the best players in the world. They’re super entertaining to watch as you can see.

is leth still considered a top 1v1'er? what happened to up and coming prodigy firstkiller?

@@iamnotjcook Depend's on Nwpo, I can't see him getting outplayed mechanically if he is in form, by, anyone, even Daniel couldn't do it. If he is in form, then Joreuz will have to solidify his ground game. As far as Nwpo losing to top/topish players, Most of them were ground Gods, Rw9, Trk, Mawkzy, Revezy, even when Kiileerz beat him, he mostly played solid ground game, unlike his usual style. As far as playing against below so called s-tier players, depends on what type of Nwpo shows up. It can be either a recurrence of his match against Revezy, or may resemble his match against Evoh.

@@stranger16luis71 I'm thinking more about his match against Luis, who destroyed him through the air. Joreuz is a ground god. For me it doesn't matter what Nwpo comes through, if Joreuz isn't feeling it he won't do well, but if he is, he sweeps no matter the form Nwpo brings

Unless he actually wants to, or he's trying to learn something new/adjust his playstyle, I don't see why he should just mindlessly grind the game. As pro, he already has scrims with his team, which is the best practice, anyways. Also, I don't think any of the top 1s players have a "massive" difference in their level tbh. Tiny differences just make big results at this level.

@@Nattbad when he was playing regionals with 20 hrs in game you could definitely see the inconsistency and you could see him let his team down. Pros like Daniel etc are not madmen for grinding the game so hard, TRK is another perfect example.

Partially agree with you @naif. He looked pretty 'poor' here if you compare it to his previous standards. Then again he did look solid vs Gomb and Rezears, though he kinda trolled towards the end in the Rezears matchup. I would still consider him in Johnny's rank A (not S), but with a bit more grinding and focus he can easily get back to S if he wants to

@@taha12012 I agree, you can see when hes not playing enough, but I'd argue that 20h in game means he's barely doing scrims, as well. If you do 4-6h of scrims + analysis on weekdays, and play a few more hours throughout the week, that's enough to stay consistent. Not saying Daniel and TRK are madmen for grinding ranked, but they probably enjoy the grind a lot more. That's why I said "unless he actually wants to...". Grinding without motivation is more likely to cause burnout than improvement, imo.

Rocket league is like csgo, the base game has been made perfectly to the point where not much changes need to be made on the base game. All the fundamentals are already there, it's just the meta and the way people play that changes

You are lying to yourself. Joreuz was off this game but that's probably because he was tilted. And my home boy RW9 is just a bloody insane player. But trust me, the more you watch joreuz the more you realize this man has infinite amounts of potential. He ever decides to put the time in he destroys everyone.

RL is more about time in than it is anything. If a player isn’t doing that, especially for a large amount of time, then what’s the point of considering it?

@@keyton1928 ye but like I can still say it because IF it happens, even though it’s very rarely happened, it would be insane. Honestly I love that the top players in rocket league aren’t definitive. There’s like 10 players who could interchange spots at any given time and they all have such unique play styles. I really fucking love this game

Despise oce and SAM being terrible for several seasons (aside from season 6 with the chiefs) If both Sam and oce can get two spots while both their first seed and second seed are terrible, then why can't MENA( who's first seed has gotten a higher rlcs LAN placement than oce or Sam ever have) get 2 spots?
