One of the things I love about this game is that during air roll you have much more ability to strike the ball than you can while not rolling. You see it tricking world class defenders like Rw9. Every time you make two possible scenarios you make the defenders job that much harder. It really is a beautiful sport.

I like to think that for the mena players this is their way of participating in the Rotterdam major. A crushing defeat or win, could alter the mental of the participating players and effect the outcome of their game and potentially the whole tournament.

I think Johnny severely underestimates rw9s offense in some matchups. Looking at the first game of this series makes Jack look like he's a champ, and jack is my favorite player in rocket league as a whole.

@JohnnyADi
@JohnnyADi Жыл бұрын
@@brunolopes2205 No disrespect to Jack obviously, however Rw9 has been clapping his entire region along with some of the other top players in the game. Jack either struggles over unfortunate miss-plays or because its just not his day. I think Rw9 however, DESTROYED Jack in game one. I also may believe that Jack somewhat intentionally was testing the waters of what he could and could not do in game one. Some of Rw9s offensive plays on Dannyboi_i was incredible.

It would be the same results, ping between 10-60 is easily playable for most pros. 60-80 is also very playable, you will start noticing very minimal differences though, but not enough to really impact this match.

@@swup9851 you really don’t want anything higher than mid 40s…. And saying it’s makes no difference is absolutely laughable lol. Having watched both players for a long time, I think you could logically bet money RW9 would sweep if the pings were swapped. Especially considering Daniel is not used to the ping. On lan, whoever is playing better on the day would take it, they’re too close.
@swup9851
@swup9851 Жыл бұрын
@@keyton1928 If you've played the game and have watched pros that play on different pings a lot, it's not that much of a difference between 10-60. Idk what's false about that lmfao. I told you you can see minor differences between the 60-80 range, which is typically what MENA players play on when connecting to Europe servers. It's a very slight difference that can lead to bigger problems, sometimes, not all the time, such as rubberbanding or lag. However, it's very possible to get a server that doesn't cause these issues even with the high ping which is why they test servers early before the match starts. You think Rw9s would be able to contend with some of these shots that people are putting up if he's experiencing what you're talking about? Hell no, and he's even considered to have the best goal line defense. You can bet money all you want, but Daniel would still win against Rw9 just because Daniel knows how to dissect Rw9s defense. He has possibly better in field cuts and 50/50s than Rw9s which is why he's able to compete against Rw9s and handle him well. Daniel would still do really well on 10-60 ping, he may feel something 60-80, but that's because, like you said, he isn't used to it. Daniel would still probably win, but the series would be closer. Daniel would also win if they were on same ping. The 50/50 game is what mainly separates the two and you should know that if you have been watching them for a long time.
@HaischkaEST
@HaischkaEST Жыл бұрын
One reason Daniel had no problem with Rw9 is that Daniel may be the single only player who has a better cut off and 50/50 game on the ball than rw9. He knows his positioning, cutting off the ball and bumping well.
@keyton1928
@keyton1928 Жыл бұрын
Daniels simple stuff is underrated because he does the flashy stuff so well. I think the ping made the difference in the matchup. 50’s and even positioning are all that much harder with ping. It’s why I always felt jack started to consistently beat okhalid. When you’re dealing with two players at the highest level, ping really becomes a fairly important deciding factor.

Not sure there’s been a true dynasty yet since oKhalid (Fairy & Scrub before him). I think RW9 has what it takes to be the 4th, you could argue Joreuz was the 4th/still could be.

@@eugenewillems9736 yes and any pro can win against fairypeak today but he is still the top 1 of the all time simply because he dominated the scene back then. What these guys do is impressive for the current time but nothing close to what fairypeak was doing so that's why he's top 1. That same analogy can be used with okhalid since he dominated as well a few years back and he's definitely more respected than rw9 despite him losing.

Is not that linear. Jack hella trolled this match. Players dont play to the top of their abilities every time and jack today seemed to have zero respect for Rw9, he insisted in plays that didnt work, he kept trying messing up mechanics and he kept leaving his comfort zone for no reason. Jack beating Daniel doesnt mean Jack is better. And Rw9 beating Jack doesnt mean Rw9 is better than both.

I don't get why you don't add a black screen at the end of series to avoid spoiling. So annoying, not the first time I don't watch a series til the end cause the result is spoiled. You're always braging about focusing on giving 'quality content' but then fail to spend 10 minutes editing to reach said goal.
