Everyone is focused on Jorge Lopez’s actions with the Glove and His “Worst’ comment; However, He has every right to be frustrated when on consecutive days He had to come in and Mop-Up Adam Ottavino’s Failures. In Game-1 of the Series on Tuesday, Ottavino blew the Save in the 9th-inning and in Game-3 Today’s Ottavino allowed the go ahead Runs in the 8th-inning. While Lopez wasn’t effective in Game 1 or 3 of this series, it was Newbie Manager Carlos Mendoza and Pathetic Adam Ottavino who set-up Jorge Lopez to Fail.

Jorge lopez's method may be wrong, but his words couldn't be more true. Sal lacata said it best on sportsnite when he stated that all the pieces that Stearns signed have been exactly what you would hope for, but the core of the team that was already here have done nothing. 341 million dollar short stop that stops and stares at a ball in the stirke zone like his controller just died mid pitch. If Lindor has eyesight problems then get him checked and put him on the IL untill the new prescription is made. Alonso is soft this is the third year where he shows no attitude no real attack mode yet wants 300 million for his new contract when he isn't on the level of matt Olson, Freddie freeman or a younger hose abreu smh package him and the squirrel and get some pitching. Marte keeps looking lost in his timing like if he keeps holding himself back with an look of being unsure. Nimmo has been a dud this year but not sure why unless there is a health issue no one is aware of. Start shipping these guys out Stearns has already shown a key eye for pieces, I am genuinely excited to see how he would go about building his own core.

It’s pains me man. When they start the game they always show the broadcast of the starting lineup and all the accolades they have. Yet all of these accomplished players can’t even keep a .250 batting average right now. I’m not the type of sadistic guy that gets pleasure out of complaining about my team losing. Mets are possibly having the worst season in MLB history.They have the highest payroll in baseball yet they have the 5th worst record. There is a 50/50 chance they will be picking 17th in the draft even if they finish with the 5th worst record. Most of the top prospects in their farm are having awful years in the minors. They should be trading players now so that they can get their payroll under 270 million and therefore not be punished 10 spots in the draft. The difference between picking 7th and 17th is massive. That combined with adding a couple more top 100 prospects is clearly what is needed. If they wait until the deadline there is no way they can get the payroll under 270 and teams will pay less because they will only have the player for 2 months rather than 4. Waiting any longer to make trades is irresponsible

So yes and no. Im sure he believes the team is the worst, im sure he knows he's part of the failures..... but he wasnt just flat out blatenly trashing them. IDK why not get the intrepertor they always use in the clubhouse for Alvarez, Marte, Butto, and other guys. Thats hogwash and ridiculous.
