Just pay $18 for Ubisoft+ and cancel the subscription when you're done with the game. Even if you play it for two months, you're only paying $36 total and you get early access. That's what I did with Skull and Bones.

The fact that Ubisoft is making it is worrying to me, especially because their games have been relatively lacklustre as of late but I’m a huge sucker for anything Star Wars related, growing up with Star Wars and being able to see a story that doesn’t have a Jedi or Sith centre stage is pretty exciting so I’m pretty conflicted on this one 😅

Look I'm pessimistically-optimistic about this game. I'm not going to set any expectation or hope for game mechanics that have not been 100% confirmed. I like Ubisoft open world games, they are games you can sit back and chill with. So once reviews dont mention any huge game breaking bugs then I'll play this for sure, BUT i wont preorder, I'll wait the extra 3 days.

Also another thing to remember is, if you end up missing out on them day 1 missions, there's absolutely nothing for you to fear. Ubisoft will most likely allow you to purchase them missions in the Ubisoft Connect store for a purchase of using your U-Coins later down the road. Not 100% saying that they will do this, but thats normally the case in some or their games, one being Assassin's Creed titles. This game kinda has me in a position where I really, really want to preorder it now, but I've been excited plenty of time's before on making a purchase for the Ultimate Edition, and then let down from how horrible the side content turned out to be, and then come to find out they end up giving it away to you for free. But I guess it pays off if you wanna have early access to the game, and extra item's, lol. But whats 3 more days and sometimes them outfits turn out to be goofy looking in actual gameplay. Concept art always looks amazing.

@@MatzeSo Open your eyes. It’s common knowledge that visual world design and optimisation is their strong point. FC6 / Valhalla all stunning at 60fps, whereas Dragons Dogma’s average visuals struggled at 30fps.

No sane person thinks ybisoft can't male open worlds... if you don't trust your own eyes, many other game males site ubisoft as the best in the business at efficiently making amazing maps with superb environmental design. that's what i did, i waited for ac mirage, avatar and crew motorfest to release, then spent £5 (it was discounted at the time in the UK) for ubi+ for a month, then enjoy all games at ultimate edition

Pay less than a quarter of the price and have it for a month. £15 isnt much and especially if you wait til later in the year until AC red releases, thats my plan. I do understand why people dislike subscription services, but games are expensive these days. I waited for Avatar, ac mirage and crew motorfest to release and then got £5 for ubi+ for a month (discounted in the UK then) and got those 3 games at ultimate edition

I'm glad that every game edition will get the secret Hutt mission (even if the heat got them to flip) but this 3 day early access crap is an industry wide problem that can backfire when people get access to a game that has major issues even days before launch. Can you say Suicide Squad? I'll wait to play it on launch day and save money by getting the SE version. I don't mind paying for DLC later on, just allow me the time to find out if it's warranted or not.

tbh i dont mind it cause i will pay for 1 month on Ubisoft+ play it finish it and move on to Black Myth and by the time they release it on Steam it be at a discount i assume unless it goes all to hell like its wild that in Avatar Ultimate Edition a Pack+Art Book(Digital only)is costing 20$

Well I mean, usually the season pass if ordered in conjunction with the game as per like a gold edition doesn't really offer a sale price or benefit, so I don't know where that idea comes from. That is except for maybe a discount by way of charging for it individually, therefore you only have to pay the taxes for one item, instead of two. Other than that.... Regardless, the price points for this are insane. Not nearly interested in this game enough to warrant a full-price purchase. Might be worth picking up later when its on sale, but not at all interested in paying 140 dollars for the whole game.

Preorders help make more content, games are disappearing because we’re not supporting, eventually your fav games will disappear because everyone is saying corporate greed, games are bigger now so of course they will be more expensive. Games used to be more expensive in 1997 like $ 84.99 which is like $120 now and they were a lot smaller compared to the open worlds we see now.

Definitely going to play this with Ubisoft+. I mean, I can play it for 4 months for the same price as the base game. Plus, I'll probably give Avatar and Mirage a try. People give Ubisoft a lot of shit and a lot of the time is justified, but I've dabbed so much money on their games using Ubisoft+. The last Ubisoft game I actually bought was Odyssey. Now I just subscribe for a month or two, play the game and cancel until all the DLC is released and subscribe for a month or two.

I'm a major assassins creed fan, ubisoft makes great looking games but the fact that every single recent game that comes from them is so overly priced to ridiculous proportions out right makes me not want to support them at all, until they stop thinking everyone just has $140 lying around I'll just be watching the trailers for they're games

@@karlmarshall4482I think its due to the protag being a female character. When its a male character inly a minority of people get angry about choice. But when its a female character a majority of people want choice. However I think people are just miffed about the price of the game.

@@MrMilkyCoco very true, I think a lot of people do get mad about only being able to be a female, and noticed people being mad about reports that they made the model they used for the character look different then how the real woman looks, but yeah they pricing on the game is out of wack, but I watched one video where they pointed out you can get all the stuff in the expensive pack for 40 bucks if you just subscribe to Ubisoft streaming service which is what they really want

Can’t even play as a Jedi or sith but character lock to a female with a blaster gun it be the same feel if it was a guy with a blaster force users are better to play
