Cameron Brink on a podcast said white players are treated and viewed differently for doing the same things in the league. She said it's just basketball and how you compete to win, they all get competitive. But she said the white players definitely have white privilege. It's super competitive because there's only 12 teams, so people are fighting to keep their spots. Things get super choppy, when pay is on the line. The NBA and ABA was the same way back in the 60s and 70s. Revenue wasn't like it was today. So teams would cut, trade or get rid of players constantly. If you weren't making a mark, you could get cut. John Starks was like that I'm the 90s, he didn't want to go back to the grocery store he was working at before he got a tryout for the Knicks.

Yeah but everyone is picking on Caitlin Clark. They have been saying this league is full of rough players It's not just against her. These are grown ssa women with warrior attitudes. I have been following the WNBA since Lisa Leslie, this is the game and how its played. Soccer, baseball, basketball, football all these sports are combative. Let them play. This is all th the relm of contact sports.
