The first time I heard this beautiful song from Demis Roussos, was in 1971 on my way to school here in New Zealand. A few years later a TV Series aired in New Zealand early 1970's called The Lotus Eaters, wow some beautiful music and of course Nana Mouskouri, of whom I had the privilege of watching as she sung in Wellington, New Zealand. Simply amazing.

Oh gosh this man was loved by a lot of people i remeber listening to this song when i was 6yrs old, my mom used to play her old cassetes and this one was one of her favorites. i'm 26 yrs old now and i remember those times with joy

Eu tinha 6 anos ,quando ouvi essa musica em um radio a pilhas ,me apaixonei pela voz ,pela musica .e perguntei a meu pai quem essa cantor ..é um cantor grego eu nao entendi nada pois era muito criança. mas ja gostava de musica ,hoje com 63 anos e continua sendo uma das vozes mais lindas q ja ouvi .eterno 💐⭐❤

Δεν ξέρω πόσες φορές άκουσα αυτό το υπέροχο τραγούδι, με την φανταστική φωνή ενός ακόμη, πολύ μεγάλου, τεραστιου θα έλεγα, παγκόσμιου Έλληνα. Μακάρι να υπαρχουν καπου αυτες οι ψυχές. Θεοδωράκης, Χατζηδάκης, Βαγγέλης κλπ. Ευτυχως αφησαν πισω τους αξιόλογο έργο. Θαυμάζω και τον επίσης τεράστιο Yanni που δεν έφυγε, και εύχομαι να ζήσει πολλά πολλά χρονια ακομα.
