José José is one of the greatest legends in spanish music, the best mexican balad singer, he sold more than 80 million albums, he dominated the 70's and 80's , in that video he was at his prime, but I love him singing ALMOHADA in 1985 in Acapulco, DESESPERADO in Acapulco 1985, AMOR AMOR in Las Vegas 1980, SABRAS QUE TE QUIERO in the 70's, all of them live in youtube.

Girl... Jose Jose is the prince of the romantic musi n is my # 1 favor singer. I'm from Monterrey city Mex n I spent entire evenings from 70s, 80s listening his songs in the radio at 9 pm throught 7 days a week who was a prorgram called "La hora de Jose Jose e invitados".

José José was one of the best voices from México so far. On one occasion, Jose Jose was invited to Frank Sinatra's birthday in the 80s and Frank was so amazed by José José's voice and charisma that he gave him some advice: "José, never stop being José, live together and enjoy your family." and he also proposed to do a musical collaboration, but for various reasons this collaboration never happened.

Si hubiera ganado la competencia sería el Rey pero cómo perdió fué solo un principe. Sus mejores canciones son : El triste, Amar y querer, Almohada, Vamos a darnos tiempo, Gavilán o paloma, 40 y 20, Amnesia, Payaso y La nave del olvido . Ojalá y puedas reaccionar a ellas.

99%of the songs he interpreted were written for HIM! He interpreted a few songs pre interpreted. His father & mother were well known opera singers. He wasn’t his technic wasn’t as good for he knew how to interpret & how to phrase ALL OF THEM!
