Yes he did experience success at some point but he has failed in the last decade unless you think winning Europa Conference League puts him in the elite category. That’s not even the main problem with Jose. There are plenty of good manager who don’t win major trophies. The problem with Jose is that he is toxic. He has falling out with every club he manages and he routinely points the finger at his players rather take responsibility for his failings. Most of the clubs he has worked with don’t want anything to do with him because of the controversy and the toxic trail he leaves behind. He will continue to float in these lower leagues and that’s fine with me as long as I don’t have to watch his negative tactics and childish antics week in and week out.
