Level of competition is different Barca & Madrid can consistently beat their opposition by 4 or more goals. Chelsea has plenty of competition. Sometimes having to grind out a result. Making it harder to compete in Champions League. Simple anyone can see that

I would agree with you if the big 3 in bayern barca and madrid didn't beat teams in Europe by such margins as well...the bpl is overrated because they generally fall short in Europe,even with more money to spend. In England they play 2 cup competitions maybe it takes a toll but not often managers in England take all competition seriously and will employ bench players for cup games. Malaga beating Barcelona 1-2 or 2-0? Maybe if they slack off as it happens. The premier league has not been at their best for a while now...when United won they did it with 13 draws,most ever. L'pool took the CL very seriously but were not up to it tactically...and were outclassed at Anfield despite having the luis suarez money to spend. Teams in la liga don't have the funds like bpl clubs...of course I'm not talking about Madrid and Barca..7 of the last 12 europa League winners are from la liga. If Spanish teams just sat back and counter they might do very well in the bpl too But it's different when you face a front 3 of messi suarez neymar or Ronaldo benzema bale or ribery Lewandoski robben.
