Watching this after all these years makes me cry how we failed this man we were so stupid and everything he said about the club is now proving to be true we failed him, he didnt.

Jose Mourinho really did speak from his heart when talking about Ryan Giggs. Like Jose made a decision in Barcelona, so did Ryan. Damm Jose controlled the press like a boss in this one.

I've always want this man to become United manager when sir Alex retired..because only a champion can handle a champion..and his character is very great as a leader...and when he was back to join chelsea again i thought it will be impossible for him to go to United and it was like a destiny when chelsea sacked him..then now he is United manager...welcome to the Theatre of dreams Jose!!!!you will be loved at Old Trafford,,,and you will love ur new home...

i watched the pep conference a week ago and thought it was amazing this one blows it out the water.

Each answer Jose gave, I felt so much satisfied. Very friendly tone, calm demeanour, positive outlook. He is such a breath of fresh air. I am very hopeful for the upcoming season. Good times are back again.

Have faith in this man. Back him and he will deliver. Being portuguese i know his tactics and style well, and i also support United, so I'm excited to see him here. Let him do his job. Expect a different style from United. Defensively I expect United to be strong, but attacking wise, with the new signings if things go well (especially because of Mou knowing Zlatan) we can expect them to look very threatening.

I honestly will never understand how someone could listen to Mou's interview and say he took a dig at Giggs, as so many British news papaers have already claimed. I even believed them for a moment and started to become mad at Jose until I listened to him myself. All the man said was that Ryan made a decision, just as he (Jose) also did about 16 years ago - the decision to become an independent manager. Jose even acknowledges how difficult it must have been for Giggs to leave his "House"!!! WHERE THE HELL WAS THE "DIG" IN THAT???? And now so many ManUtd supporters have started a rant against Jose because of that, thinking he has barely stepped foot unto United soil and has already started taking "shots" at our legends. Utter nonsense! He did NOT obviously. The only person I feel who he really...REALLY hinted at was Wenger. Even a blind man would see that. But that British news for you. They added Giggs and Rooney to that list as well.

As a life long Utd fan, 35 years worth or so, I have to say I was impressed with his conference. He is a winner, he is still confident of being a winner and he gave some very direct answers to the questions. The media seem to hang the question mark over his head due to last season but I think he'll find Utd a bit more of a supportive place to work than during his last season at Chelsea. No disrespect to the Chelsea fans on that. The outlook looks bright at the moment. Two false dawns have been and gone, time for some sunshine!!

In another note, we're so exciting to see JM managing our beloved club. Its a real dream come true. I have the sense that SAF wanted him to fill his shoes from the vey beginning. But the board went for Moyes and later LVG as there were some important figures from it opposing his appointment. Good three years of torture were enough to finally go for the 'Special One' to bring us to where this club belongs!!! Jose seems more mature but his hunger for winning is still there and we can feel it on this press conference... good omen!!!

Mourinho will promote young players but of those 49 players I doubt many were forwards or attacking players. It's not a lie that is repeated many times but it's an impression that people have based on his record of not giving young strikers like Rashford (let's face it the question is about him) a chance to play.

There is one thing I hate in football and that is clubs changing managers like they change their underwears. It's annoying but we, the fans, get the point. I have loved and supported Manchester United since I a kid. What if Jose doesn't meet the expectations. Will he be fired right away or given another chance to redeem himself? Attack attack attack used to be United style of play. I hope Jose Mourinho revives United's playing style so that some of us die-hard fans may be less depressed this season. Let's hope that this season will be a United season. I will be happy with Champions League position. Winning the Premier League will be a bonus! -United Die-Hard Fan
