I love that Joseph has enough humility to comment on improvements to be made to his own position on the horse.

gretchen jaeger thank you Gretchen. I can get so much better. That’s why I love this sport. It’s a constant, working to improve myself. I think it’s something I like to show on my channel. We’re all just trying to become better riders and trainers. Thank you for following along.

when the rider is balanced no problem to have horse in rythm and relaxation doesnt mean to ride on forehand and contact comes from behind but only as much so that the horse doesnt loose its balance and contact comes by trying to ride with the reins having an imaginary rein bridge between your hands and the most important aid is the weight aid every breath you take , the weight aid gives the direction , without weight aids no horse will be truly straight and able to bend in hind legs getting cadence

I love how you and your sister train your horses. I have an ex race horse who has difficulties to accept the bit and accept working in on the bit..i was wondering if you habe any advice or tips of how to make this happen to a horse that's not naturally build or maybe had wrong schooling previously like an ex racer to make this transition to accept working with the bit.. I'm basically trying to get a hollow horse to be round and working over its back..
