@cedricklamarpruitt 7 жыл бұрын
LOL I don't think he regrets having Tim Duncan, Tony Parker, and Ginobili as teammates and Pop as a coach. Who can compare to that on the 76ers? Being a project is cool when there's no real pressure. The Spurs were already winning, not the same case in Philly.
@fjo9492
@fjo9492 7 жыл бұрын
Cedrick Pruitt everybody is a project and Jackson will already be productive in his first season more than many guys in the draft!!!his only problem is that he isn't really a scoring option that is where the "project" comes in whether he can become a scorer just like Butler did.
@cedricklamarpruitt
@cedricklamarpruitt 7 жыл бұрын
We don't have any evidence of Josh Jackson's productivity in the NBA so that argument is complete speculation. With respect, no lottery pick should be a project. They should be ready to play right now. Markelle and Lonzo are ready to contribute in their respective positions RIGHT NOW. Projects should be drafted later by teams who can afford to give them the time and support they need to grow as players. Josh might be a beast internally but his skills on the college level do not show that he will be ready to contribute immediately. Draft him mid-first round. Problem solved.
@happynightz
@happynightz 7 жыл бұрын
He could be productive on the defensive end. Most college students get to the nba with holes in their offence that could be fixed but never learn how to be an effective defender. That's why he's a high draft pick because he's coming in with good defensive instincts.
@Smsrules1
@Smsrules1 7 жыл бұрын
The Wiggins comparison always seemed like a stretch to me. I thought that Wiggins was much more polished as a college freshman, and that his offensive potential is higher than that of Jackson. Regardless, he'll be a good, maybe great player, in this league. There's always a need for a player with fantastic defensive instincts and great athleticism, let alone the fact that he's a teenager.

I think he will be a good defender and you can't teach defense so at least he can contribute right away. If he is a hard worker he will be a star, i see a bit of Wallace and PG.

Lakers should be looking at all PGs. This trying to push Josh Jackson off as a 2-guard for defense sounds good, but he's a Natural SF that helps the BIGs in the paint. GMs not falling for the media hype because of a lack of 6'6 shooting guards available.

Jackson is Kidd-Gilchrist 2.0. Lakers don't need that, can find a VETERAN for defense. You know the the Lakers like to make a splash. That only happens with PGs, doesn't matter which one.

Danny ainge will be making a lot of trade draft night 🍀. Good or bad thing we'll have to wait and see but just know that the pick we grab is not concrete as can be a trade bargain. Lots of teams need solid PGs and wings because of being in their rebuilding process . It's a strategic move. Everyone hated Danny but look where the C's are now. 1st in the east . He's often labeled insane but remember theirs a thin line between insanity in genius !

Lonzo ball will be first pick. Every year college ball produces good players with potential that will be great NBA players, but for every great prospect there is an equal amount of won't be so good prospects. With Lonzo though it's different he special and can do things that only few in history could do. He's a player that will be the Magic Johnson and Jason Kidd of his era and will probably be better than them in the end as a player and a winner.

I hear ya. But every nba ever was once not in league before they made it to. Michael Jordan wasn't the best player of all time when he was in college and he did end up becoming that. Everyone starts somewhere. I give Lonzo the benefit of the doubt that he will work hard and become as good as Magic or Kidd on some level at least.

I'm a little skeptical about Josh Jackson. He moves fluid and is explosive like Coach said. But my thing is like Andrew Wiggins sometimes you forget he's even on the floor. He doesn't always have an impact on the game. Wiggins was great defensively and elite athleticism where Jackson is good defensively and good athleticism. His potential isn't as good as Wiggins was when i look at him. He isn't very solid at anything like Wiggins was very raw. But Wiggins jumpshot wasn't as broke imo and you knew he'd atleast be a defensive stopper run the floor and use his elite athleticism. With Jackson i'm not sure exactly what he's good to great at. He's almost like Jeff Green i'd probably put him at the 4 position if anything until his jumpshot or dribbling and passing improves to put him at the 3.

Hes better than Wiggins right now. Next Kawhi, this guy is dumb. He needs to work on his shot mechanics. But he showed great improvement throughout the year. He could improve his ball handling but again is better than Wiggins. Defensively his gonna be elite. With his competeve spirit and willingness to learn he'll be a multiple time All Star

The God Sixers need guards, they'll probably be getting one of Kentucky's backcourt freshmen at the 5 or 6 pick

His Dribbling looks shaky at times and when it comes to explosiveness i honestly think that brandon Ingram is more explosive than him let alone wiggins.

his draft stock will drop. he will be probably drafted by a team that need defensive presence badly.
