Katz offers a glimpse into what's in store for 2023, as Badflower prepares to release the follow-up to 2021’s sophomore album This Is How the World Ends and set out on the Asking For A Friend Tour with support from Des Rocs and Blood Red Shoes later this month.

Being 23 and still dealing with countless mental problems severe anxiety being one bit this guy's music tells me it's ok and normal. Everyone can get better with the right help and enough time.

Badflower has been a huge inspiration for me to continue making music. They helped me feel comfortable singing about the dark side of depression because its not just dark, it's REAL. There's no reason to sugar coat it. I also have that limited edition pair of badflower heelys and they OWN🤘😂🔥

When I was 16, I had severe anxiety and panic attacks for 3 months straight. I had night terrors in my sleep, which made me have no place to escape from the panic. I'm better now because I used anger to get me past the fear. I'm 33 now, and I can still invite the anxiety into my mind. It's like a faucet. I can turn it on and off now. Sometimes, it's hard to turn it off if I let it run for too long.

This is me and my depression. I've been doing a well for a while and when I think of the mental state I was in I can't relate to it anymore.
