Taylor made a believer out of me after he beat Prograis. Tough guy. He’s also big for his weight class & should move up into welter weight comfortably. Ramirez may have had the closer score card, but to this day I don't think anyone has made Taylor uncomfortable in the ring the way Regis did. I really want to see them run it back.

Excellent analysis! Thanks for that! Confusing an opponent by switching stances.... This is one of the few shortcommings of boxing. So many otherwise brilliant boxers are stuck to one stance.... What is so difficult to incorporate switching stances first into daily practise and then later on into the fights? Equally developed skills in both stances is very worthwhile striving for. Another thing that often bugs me when watching a boxing fight: one fighter presents a target and the other one doesn't hit, because "I was not in the optimal position to hit".... What??? You have to hit your opponent whenever he presents you with a target, no matter what position you find yourself in! To practise that: hit a rebouncing target like a japanese makiwara while standing on just one foot and with full power, learn to deliver energy to the intended target from any position. So, his Taekwondo background is a good starting point for this. Usually in eastern martial arts, this is what you learn. While eastern martial arts could learn much from boxing, this is something boxing could learn from eastern martial arts.

Boots is only one that can stop this dude Crawford will lose Spence will lose, Stanionis will get smoked. The biggest realisation from watching all his fights is that, he is still getting better! That’s scary. For me, the only guy that can test him is Crawford. Taylor beats Spence and Ugas.

I really lost respect for him the way he came out after the Ramirez fight decrying the scorecards, saying that he won a shutout. In reality, he gave up so many rounds in that fight, with in activity, that without the knockdowns I don't think he would've even won the fight.
