We all know these horrible pictures of war zones that stick in our minds. Seeing these countries in their beauty and realness, knowing that people are friendly and welcoming, brings humanity back. A bit more information about medsky. The aircraft that is registered in Malta is operated by a maltese company Malta Medair, the subsidiary of Air Malta. They also fly to Malta. My cosuin flew with them in the summer from Malta to libya he said they weren't bad and was also offered drinks and snacks on such a short flight. Medsky is a libyan airline as they also have one aircraft registered in Libya. They are a new airline and are aimed to mainly connect libyans to the rest of europe and the world, especially with flying to FCO now

Saw Qantas are saying you need to ask permission before flying to record on their flights now. I get it in some circumstances but it’s good they don’t have prior notification before for people like you so a true reflection of the flight experience can be seen.

Thank you for showing Libya in the most appropriate manner. I was born in Libya and love that country to the core. Despite being there for 17 years I never got to explore the country apart from living in Yefren and Tripoli.

Hello Josh! I'm a Turkish national who spent years in Libya this video is very special for me! So about your video, I want to mention that, the crew is possibly very well aware of flight safety after landing. The passengers especially Libyans have this habit of showing who is the bravest to collect their luggage and leave the plane first. I believe the crew just wanted to keep calm to avoid any issues with the passengers. They wouldn't listen anyway. I have witnessed that for over 20 years, and it's all the same for Libyan Airlines, Buraq Air, Air One Nine, Afriqiyah etc. Thanks for bringing up good memories!

I recommend a flight to Russia directly with Air Algerie. There is a flight to Algiers Moscow🇩🇿🇷🇺 with a Boeing 738 and Algiers S.Petersburg with a Boeing 736, and you can even take a direct flight from Algiers to Beijing🇩🇿🇨🇳 with an Airbus A332.

Bro, a bit correction. Tripoli international airport wasn't closed down in 2011 but in 2014 when the second Libyan civil war popped up.

This video very nice. And I completly agree need more trainning for safety. People cant be stand up and walking and disturb others so soon to landing.

Since you're on an A319 you're on the statistically safest airplane type ever built. Since it entered service in 1996 there are 1,400 built and has done 35+ million flights without a single fatality, including to some of the most dangerous airports on Earth and with some of the sketchiest carriers that are banned in the EU.
