Really the only thing the old silver rcmodelex rig needed was an updated interior. These detailed sets from rc4wd.com have a ton of tiny details.

@15:17 love the fact a 1987 Totota Hilux 4x4 had a "2008" style interior, & needed an "upgrade." I follow.👌🏾 Great job in all! Definitely one of my top favorite scale hilux build so far.👌🏾

I just got back into rc. Got the wpl kei truck. Started modifying it to put figures in it. But I also ordered the wpl crawler going to put that body on kei chassis.

Cool upgrade, well suited color and the benchcover is excellent, real vintage. Second idea is to find a good used shell to fit the removed interior in, perhaps even, build a whole 'new' truck around it during upcoming Winter build season, if you fancy that ofc. Nice work and a great work shop to do the modifying work. The detaiings are amazing (those dice), but the rustic look is not for me, but I get it.

Have you considered making some scale outdoor scenery for cool pics of your trucks for Instagram or Facebook? I am thinking simple stuff like a small water tower you could make out of wood and leave it out in the elements to just get more weathered over time (abandoned look). This truck would look awesome in front of something old and ghost town looking!
