When I lived in California and rode GMR on the weekends I was the same way. Definitely preferred riding uphill in the canyons. You can stop much quicker and maneuver better going uphill as opposed to going downhill. In a canyon with a cliff on one side, momentum the bike carries is critical to how it feels and you carry more momentum going downhill which feels more sketchy. Just be careful! I got hit by a SUV at the bottom first turn at GMR, I was exiting and he was entering the canyon, and he crossed over the double yellow into my lane around that first blind turn and hit me head on. Broke my neck, nose, orbital, mandible, and arm in that one. I have a few old videos on "my channel" (only posted to show friends, I don't make vids) of me riding up there. Definitely miss riding there!

I’ve been running Q4’s on track for the past year and they HOOK! Not the longest lasting tire out there but I’ve never felt them push out of lose grip. 1-2 laps to warm them up depending on temp and then send it. Ken Hill just did a test at my local track Jennings and tested the Q4 against slicks and they came out with impressive results! Awesome to see you shredding on a tire a lot of us street/track guys run

Azusa looks fun! Would be great to see you shredding out on Palomar. It's where all the cool kids hang out. ;-) One suggestion or request really... I'd love a video of you running through the mountains where you talk about what you're doing. How you pick your lines. Your braking going in and throttle coming out. There's lots of videos teaching theory and other videos of guys riding fast, but not much with a pro rider like yourself breaking down what they do. Anyhow, liking the new channel. Hope to see you out on the road some day.

Josh - CHALLENGING QUESTION to you from a lawyer, rider and big fan. Okay. You've got a factory Ducati ride now (I was gutted over Daytona 200 for ya but congrats on the new team and big wins on the horizon!). You post insanely cool, authentic and humble videos absolutely shredding the Canyons. My question is this: does Ducati North America, or whomever you're contracted with, set limits on your YT vids or edit them in any way? I've gotta think they do in some way (I imagine the suits in a conference room worrying about some street incident) but am thrilled to see what you're posting which kinda suggests to me they give you close to free rein. Tell us what you can! How do you manage to navigate the many corporate obligations you must have while also having such unadulterated great fun on the street?! Also, super curious to know if there are any contractual limits on what you can do on the street (like NFL players prohibited from riding motos?). My guess is you're such a known quantity and big personality that your "brand" is valuable to all of your sponsors and you've therefore got leeway other top riders might not. True? Anyhow, thanks for brightening our day. I was hooked from "Hey fuckers!" Honest, real, humble content from a good guy who hasn't let success go to his head. Rare stuff. A+! Go Josh!

My favorites are Hwy 18 front side/ Hwy 74 Palm Desert were they filmed Torque. Last time caught a pro racer on the mtn was Mr Willow Springs Earl Rowloff (@Palomar) When Jason Britton was racing ran Palomar with him. Don't have the HP4 in the stable no more. Stay on the faster canyons w my roll race Busa. I see you on 18, 243 or 74 I'm winning those tires, we riding & chopping it up🤣🤣🤣
