For the past 2 years or so, Beomhan has been one of the most popular trainees in the entire K-pop fandom. He is so sweet, funny, lovely, and outspoken. Everyone was such a fan of his personality and the fact that he could speak to fans openly and casually. I'm so sad that he did not get the love and support he deserved from FN Entertainment. I hope he doesn't give up on his dreams and gets snatched up by a better company that sees his potential and debuts soon. #BeomhanHwaiting.

It’s because he is so open and outspoken that they got rid of him. They clearly consider him a loose cannon, someone who is not easy to manipulate and control. He might be looked at the same way by many other agencies as too much of a risk and liability which is not fair but not surprising considering how the K-pop industry works.

I’m just genuinely curious why some people say this, not only carats, but almost all fandom, when some fans are being toxic or having a different opinion, I would always see comments like this, “they are not -fandomname-“ I even saw artists say this too, “I don’t even consider them as fans” Some would even say they are antifans & not fans, they would say bad things in order to smear the fandom’s name who’s claimed to be peaceful, loving etc. And bcoz it’s the internet, it’s hard to pinpoint if they were once good fans, they are antifans to start with, etc. I’m just thinking would it be better to not say they are not part of the fandom, but acknowledge that they have poor/toxic/sometimes just different (not this case) opinions. They are part of the fandom, but they have poor manners as fans. They are toxic fans but still part of the fandom. But then as I said, what if they are antifans/haters from the start? So maybe that’s why it’s best to just not consider them as part of the fandom? Also, not directing this to you alone, anyone can answer. I’m fairly new to kpop and I’m just curious. No hate. And I believe any fan should not be doing this to their artists. Sure they can feel sad or jealous but to act on that feeling, to post hate comments, send hate messages, send trucks (my god they are spending money for this?), it’s just not right.

The best strategy is to ignore. If you try to clarify or reason it is more fuel to the fire. I have seen this happen to hybe artists again and again in various PR cases. When they were defending Garam, the unreasonable outcry lashing them for defending their own artist was unbelievable until they had to let her go due to massive public pressure. And now you suddenly see so many Garam supporters who say hybe didn't support her....... Min Hee Jin gets enormous unreasonable hate every New Jeans comeback. She first tried to explain after 'cookie' controversy. But it didn't work...... I mean do people think that she does all the shooting editing etc herself? Why is she responsible for each single dis satisfactory aspect you find?..... Enhypen's choreo controversy was ridiculous but they had to appease the fans and change the choreo.... You can see that being logical or reasonable or rational doesn't always work. Since there can be possible backfire for any dating related clarifications, it's best to be silent and ignore. Which is what they have been doing for bts members and will probably do for other groups too.

I was quite shocked to see the comment section there, they purposely only commented about Sungjong and completely ignore Chen. Having Korean members in NCT Tokyo is a smart move because Koreans will support them more as opposed to having purely Japanese members. This is why WayV (NCT China) can't capture Koreans' attention because they got a Thai member (Southeast Asian idols are generally not popular among Kpop fans due to lack of East Asian visual and common culture) instead of a Korean member in the group.

I hope a better agency picks up Beomhan because someone who has worked hard and is talented should be given a chance. Agencies sometimes do no think that these artists have global fans and are in mass numbers and will support their artists. Next, is if joshua is dating, then its fine as long as he is happy and continues to create good music. We all can not be his GF but we all can be his support system so he can be happy. I also feel that people need to understand when you become of age in their 20+ years artist will always do what they want. Its not a secret, they are human too, fans just need to take a step back and look at the situation clearly. I don't like when a rookie group members are dating, because I think it's the most important time and moments that will decide the group succession and other members fate. So I think its selfish to date and make scandals when you're rookies. But for a well established group, and a senior group in the industry, I think it's just normal and absolutely fine for them to start their own life, include making financial planning, building business, or as simple as having a partner. The beomhan one really upsets me.. they failed to protect him and his FAMILY.. from toxic fans / haters. And other things. I remember he got asulted last yr and fm did NOTHING. He begged for help basically they did NOTHING. He finally told his fans on his live and they helped the best they could (like sending food) he never spoke bad about fm? Yeh he made jokes thats all 😭 he even had to stop lived before almost at tears in the past. Cause “staff” kept telling him what he could or couldn’t do or talk about. Even his jokes. It was honestly hard to watch at times. He would show what they would do. Showing them watch his streams in another room watching him like a hawk basically. And the company statement was way to harsh saying they will take legal action on him if he keeps talking? Thats way to harsh he never talked shit about the company so the company statement makes no sense…

To a point, I think Beomhan’s contract termination was somewhat of a good choice by the company. As we saw with the Chan situation earlier this year, if an idol gets super popular and has a good relationship with fans, there’s a chance that relationship can cross too many boundaries and leave the idol with no way to back out of it and then they get in trouble. Building such a strong parasocial bond isn’t healthy for the idol just as much as it isn’t for the fans, and I think company didn’t want anything to do with him if he was going to be a loose cannon once he got an even larger audience as an artist. It’s shitty that all of Beomhan’s work towards becoming an idol (and let’s not forget those damn fees and all the money he had to work up to get surgery to go back to training) will all be for naught right now, but I’m hoping he gets to sign with a company that values his personality and charisma and has a generally open mind about lives and whatnot. The issue is that if he really can’t take the “you can’t say this thing or that thing” then idoling might not be for him, because to hold success in such a cutthroat industry you do have to be careful about your image and be wary of certain topics to keep yourself safe from exacerbated hate. I think JYPE’s emphasis on personality/charisma and dancing would suit Beomhan well.

The SPC thing, like on one hand I get it why people are upset because I really hate companies who don’t provide their workers with basic labor rights, but on the other hand that’s how most corporations work, including all luxury brands that celebs, including idols, collaborate with. I don’t see how working with them is any different than working with other big/luxury brands. They are often even worse than that.

He's really popular. The company have made themselves look really shady. They've been looking like a rubbish company for a while. Now they've terminated his contract I really hope he signs elsewhere - if that's what he wants - and if he does so that they treat him better and he gets to debut.

South Korean companies (SPC included) have always been hard-driving their employees to work more under questionably safe conditions: for one thing, both the Korean companies and the SK government are afraid Japan and other countries are going to out-produce them. Given that mindset, there are probably more incidents such as these that never come to light.

pretty sure the clip of joshua's bracelet is from a recording of going seventeen (could be wrong about that) and since the show pre-films lots of content, that means the clips is from months back. Either way, its Joshua life, we aren't his mom.

We, fans need to remember that we are FANS. The idols have their own personal lives and make their own choices and fans really need to learn not to cross the line. FANS support their idols no matter what, look out for them in their best interest but not to the point of "controlling" what their idols should and shouldn't wear, who they should date or what they should be doing. What we do and say reflect on the artists. Being a fan myself of some artists, it is natural to be protective but sometimes we really need to take a step back and assess our thoughts and actions before they could go out of hand and negatively affect the artists we're supporting. We are fans and we are in no position to dictate what our artists must do. Our actions affect our fave artists more than we think especially their mental health. Let's take good care of them in the best way possible and make sure that they are okay. ^^ cheers!

So what if he's dating or not it's none of our business. As REAL fans our job is to love & support their work they gift to us. Their romantic & personal lives should ALWAYS be off limits

Mehn… I used to admire carats.. this year kinda changed my mind that there’s really no “coolest”fandom like I thought.. it was only a matter of when the toxic ones delusion would come out..
