This match was very interesting to watch. Shane didn't seem to be playing his best on this day, but his misses did not hurt him critically. He managed to stay close even though Filler was playing very well at the beginning, and then he closed out the match efficiently. It must be difficult to stay composed and calm and work at your own pace when your opponent is shooting so fast and accurately. 👍

What happened from 6:30 onwards with those couple of shots? I thought the rules are a ball must hit the intended ball + rail? Aren't they playing the green 2 ball?
@diamonddavemusic7 ай бұрын
After a break with a pocketed ball, the player who broke the balls has a choice of making a shot on the next numbered ball or declaring a "push-out". If a push-out is declared, then the player may hit the cue ball anywhere on the table without incurring a foul, and their opponent has the option of taking the next shot after the push-out or "passing" on the push-out shot, and giving it back to the original player. The purpose of the push-out is to give the player that breaks an opportunity to improve the cue ball position slightly without incurring a foul. Strategy and position is critical so that the push-out is left where you can possibly make the next shot but your opponent will not want the difficult challenge.

28:16 - not sure why Shane didn't shoot for the upper left pocket? Was it because he would not have position on the 2? Maybe fear of scratching in the top right pocket? Or the slight back-cut and the distance?
@shahamahussain3276 Жыл бұрын
Top + left spin can easily stop the cue from scratching and then he can get a position with 2-5 combo in the right bottom. But safety was the less risky option. Btw he played the safety shot wrong as well, did not snooker properly! But Joshua is cocky af so he tried the pot by swerving or jumping (dont know what he was trying) and ended up with a foul anyway. Not impressed with either of their performance in this match :/

Por que se usa la extensión? O para que es ?
@diamonddavemusic7 ай бұрын

After a very difficult shots and position, usually the player used their eyes muscle much more than usual, so the next aiming is going to be unbalance between 2 eyes, especially with shot clock, you have no time to rest your eyes and get it back. So even it's an easy shot it's going to be hard.
@jselectronics82152 жыл бұрын
@@ColinSu Yes, it's a vision thing. Aim while standing, then try not to take your eyes off the object ball as you get down on the shot. And head position over the cue is critical. But Shane should have that dialed in by now.
