I think he's right. If people really like Dawson's Creek a revival isn't going to work. We have so many examples of revivals that didn't work out and even if it works, it'll never be even close to back then. I think a reunion between the cast once in a while is better than that. And I'm glad that already happened. Also, people like the 90's vibes, the pre internet era. Nowadays all of that is gone, a revival will never be that magical

It could work, but it should be done well. And characters should evolve. I would love to see Pacey and Joey deal marital crisis, something KW suggested.

When I was 10-12 years old Joshua Jackson was my celebrity crush. I adored him in The Mighty Ducks 🦆 Trilogy. He was great in Dawson’s Creek too. His wife is beautiful 🤩 oatmeal raisin and oatmeal chocolate 🍫 are both delicious 🤤

This is a great interview, I kept it going until the end. He kept it light hearted when the questions getting more personal and with hard topics. Hopefully it gets recommended to more people and interviewers themselves take note.

I agree with Josh. Dawson's Creek began and ended when it should have and there were no loose ends. Jen died being at peace with her life. Mitch died. Gail remarried. Andi became a doctor. Audrey became a backup singer to a rock group. Jack and Doug got together and raised Jen's daughter. Jack also became a teacher at Capeside High. Dawson achieved his dream of becoming a Hollywood director and met his idol Steven Speilberg. Joey became a writer living in New York and finally took her dream trip to Paris. Pacey started his own successful restuarant, got the girl of his dreams back, and reconciled his estrangled friendship with Dawson. Dawson's sister and Joey's nephew are like Dawson and Joey reincarnated. Dawson is Joey's soulmate and childhood love while Pacey is the great love of her life who helped her grow and mature into the woman she wanted to become with a life and dreams of her own which didn't revolve around Dawson Leery, hence the reason why she broke up with Dawson in the first place to find out who she was outside of being Dawson and Joey. Everything became full circle. When I was watching the show as a kid, I wanted Dawson and Joey to be together and I hated the later seasons when they grew up and graduated from high school and entered college and the real world. When I rewatched it as an adult, I realized Pacey was the better for Joey and rooted for Joey and Pacey. Even though Season 5 and 6 were not as strong as the first few seasons, it still was a great journey watching them form their own paths in life with so many twists and turns and still their path ended with them intersecting once again. It's a great show. I'm rewatching it now. I'm on Season Two when Jack came out the closet and Dawson got drunk for his 16th birthday and ruined his surprise birthday party. Everything comes around full circle.

No full circle finale, just commercial reason. The real Dawson's Creek is the first season, nothing more.

Josh is such a brilliant actor that he has the capability of making us actually feel the character deeply. It’s not something that many actors have been able to do to me. And also, he’s the only actor who made me break my 13 year streak of anti-horror movies just cause I wanted to watch more work by him, and gotta tell you I regret watching a horror movie again, but don’t regret going through that horror for Josh. And also, he made me feel so much annoyance at him by the end of the movie cause of his character which speaks volumes about his acting!

Not all the cast members would be able to participate. Plus, there's no going backwards and recapturing it. It's done and can't be redone. Let it just be remembered as it was. It was about coming of age. They are grown. What could possibly be added to the success that was Dawson's Creek?

Honestly I think at this point just stream old episodes and enjoy. That said I wouldn’t mind seeing some of the cast reunite but in something completely different with very different characters and a different genre.

I think the dawson’s creek could work if done properly. First, it should be done as a one off movie and the story should have something to do with Jen’s daughter, her marriage perhaps. The movie starts with Jen’s daughter (now 23) watching her mother’s video as Dawson walks in and looks on. He starts by saying he remembers the day like it was yesterday and that it was the hardest thing to film for him. She then asks him what her mother would say to her before the wedding, he’d say that Jen would be very proud and you can pretty much take the movie from there on anywhere you like. It would not be a Dawson’s Creek revival or another reboot, which i hate, but rather like a continuation in a different format, a catching up of old friends for a one off. I guarantee you people would go see it, i know i’d be one of them.

Imagine going over to japan and asking people about their own “yellowness.” She knows very well she is a hypocrite and is manipulating josh’s vulnerable state as a white public figure.

He talked a lot while Saying nothing. I’m not white and I think there’s a lot of victimization. Not everything is because of your skin color. Stop taking things personally.

if u listen to what he's talking, then you'd hear ALOT!. not everything is about color but most things are and to devalue that fact makes one apart of the problem. anyone that is white or passes for white or is of that tone cannot speak to what those that are brown, black or dark skinned face and go through...worst if you turn your ears and eyes away from educating yourself , but instead only rely on the media.
