I think if all you base your purchase declined on is specs and price then maybe, but Anker is not MagSafe Certified so has none of the software features for safety and efficiency. It does not have the battery widget. You cannot charge both the knee and iphone at once like you can with pass-through tech on the Apple pack. You do not get the smart protection, where charging stops at 90% or when your phone gets too hot, it stalls charging until the phone cools. It is not as efficient and has not got the smart feature where you can efficiently use the Apple pack as a secondary battery. Also, tests suggests the Anker heats up more? For me, the extra features easily make up for the pricing and the 50% extra charge of the Anker especially as I have used thee smart battery case (same principle) for 2.5 years and it still works great and gives me 12h SoT on my XS Max combined with the phone’s battery!

Respectfully, you did forget one major feature of the Apple pack. If you have it on you’re phone and you plug your phone up to charge (not the pack) when your phone reaches 80% it will reverse wirelessly charge that pack to fill it up as well, meaning that reverse wireless charging is capable on the 12 lineup. But love the video keep up the hustle!

@@thehippieboy69 so I just rewatched the whole video, to see if I stood corrected. I do not. I assume you’re referring to the time 1:15 when he has the PACK on the charger and it passes charge through to the phone. That is NOT what I’m referring to. They both do that. I am speaking of the feature that is still to this day exclusive to Apple’s which is if you put your lightning cable into the port on the IPHONE ITSELF and have the MagSafe battery pack just on the back, the Apple one will receive pass through from the phone. He never addressed that, and Anker’s does not support that.

One thing I would've much preferred to see is the magnet's strength. One of the main reasons why this is really cool on the iPhone 12 line is obviously the fact that it's wireless, though there are several iPhone charging cases that may just as well satisfy your need of some extra battery power. iPhone charging cases are much more 'safe' as the battery oviously cannot be dropped, unlike the Anker & the Apple's Magnetic Wireless charger. I've personally tested the battery pack from Anker and if enough wiggle is applied, it be dropped, so the question really is if Apple's is just as strong or stronger.

Also (1:20), when utilizing pass through charging, it would seem the Apple pack charges phone and battery up to three times quicker on the go. I personally prefer the white Apple one, because it is way thinner and helps me to get through two days of medium use with my iPhone 12 Pro Max. Although the 109€ were a tough pill to swallow.

Dude I appreciate how completely unbiased you were and provided pros & cons at the end when it boiled down to the results. Very clean.
