@@allsic $1000 or less more likely. (Unless he bought the higher end appliances) If you set aside only $10 per week and check craigslist frequently for free construction refuse (i.e. unused 2x4s and plywood scraps), you can achieve a similar set up in 2 years or less. It's not that expensive of a hobby/job. You do need a space of at least 200 sq ft to work within. Most importantly though, you need a good attitude, determination, and attention to detail.

I appreciate the angles at the end to show the piece. Not enough people do. They finish and then it's over and we don't get to see all around. Nicely done. Inspiring me to make something out of one board

My first thought as mentioned previously by others, watch out for those hoodie strings and any other loose clothing or jewelry. Final thoughts "Fantastic" and "You should be proud of yourself"

I was a bit intrigued by how he achieved such a wide seat out of a piece of 2x4. I must say, I felt really stupid when he just glued it together. Well done, looks really nice.

Your videos are always great! Just a safety concern that you might want to consider, tie up your hoodie strings. When leaning over your table saw they come dangerously close to the spinning blade. They may just get cut off but there's always the potential of them getting caught and pulling you in. Just a thought, stay safe, keep on building, you have great ideas and videos

A lot of people have been asking the same questions so to make it easier I'll answer them here. The 2x4 that I used was 8ft. The length of the cross brace pieces were 12.25" on the short side. If you have any more questions feel free to ask, I am pretty good at responding.

It's probably been mentioned to you, but baggy, loose, or dangling pieces of clothing are pretty dangerous with spinning blades or anything else that rotates. Just tuck in the strings, or cut them off if you don't use them, tuck in shirts, that kind of stuff. Thanks for making the video.

Nice project this is the sort of thing newer woodworkers need who aren't going to go out and spend 700 dollars on some pippy oak. Love to see a series starting with a circular saw a jigsaw and a drill someone making most things needed in a workshop, so building things like this and your parts storage, workbenches, even table saw, drill press, sander all with simple tools and make the rest. Nothing too fancy. Simple but functional.
