Honestly Neil Patrick Harris did a great job as Peter and Spider-Man here. Him and Josh Keaton (Spectacular Spider-Man) deserve an award for their voice acting

Is the CGI dated? A little. Is everything else fantastic? Absolutely!

Spider-Man was such a badass in this show and they actually showed him to be really powerful. It also stayed true to his character and spirit. Such a great adaptation that ended too soon.

It’s amazing how out of all shows to adapt Peter Parker’s personality, this one surprisingly came the closest to the Lee/Dikto era. I wonder if that was intentional or not

I like how whenever he's Peter Parker he perfectly Blends in with the animation Style but whenever he's in his Spider-Man costume he sticks out of the animation style like a sore thumb.

To this day this remains my favorite TV adaption of Spider-Man ever made. The quips are still there, but they take a backseat to let this darker incarnation of him shine. Most folks also seems to miss the fact that this indeed takes place in the Raimi universe Correction: The show was canon before the release of Spider-Man 2 and beyond.

I know this version of Spider-Man is meant to be a non-canon continuation of the Sam raimi Spider-Man movie but I think he's a lot more badass here than he is in the rest of the trilogy. And also he has a lot more charisma than in the rest of the trilogy.

I have a feeling this is how netflix animates all body movement in the animes they've helped in and claimed their own after cutting so many corners for stone ocean and then claiming the entire series as their own.

In hindsight the only problem I have with this show is that Peter gets a lot of people killed either by inaction or by accident. For a while Electro was just dead, Connors straight up broke his back against the pavement because of him. And there is a lot of civilian casualties, like everyone who isn’t named ought to have a red shirt on when they go outside. Other than that I guess that anyone who isn’t wearing spandex and a mask looks a little awkward when they move. Their heads feel like they’re going to drift off any second, just really floaty.
