When old bands like Journey and all them make new records trying to sound like they used to and get a hit in this day and age it really doesn't work and sounds so bad you feel sorry for them. But this song breaks that cycle in my eyes. It's so damn good. If it came out back in their prime I think it would've been a massive hit.

No use in getting all worked up. Steve Perry does not want anything to do with the band and they moved on. Something we should all emulate. the "new" Journey, while not the same has it's own characteristics that, in my humble opinion, make it better for us all. So, for those who can't adjust - get over it! For those who can, sit back and enjoy the music. My opinion, Arnel is doing a great job and wish him all the best. Same for Steve Perry - great voice and thanks for what you gave us.

He is on the Today show, he is singing in stadiums all over the world. You are typing sad little notes on You Tube. So who is really laughing their ass off? Perry is gone, Arnel is in. Get over it and get on with your life. If you don't like Arnel, don't listen, don't watch. It's called choice.

Despite Arnel's normally tremendous voice, he is not Steve Perry in that he lacks his dynamism and chemistry with Schon et al. Castronovo is in great form here; looks like he hasn't aged a day. I hope Arnel can stay this gig, I truly like him.
