I saw them in concert on Feb 15th, 3rd concert location after this concert in Biloxi. It was a great concert! I had NO idea who Arnel Pineda was. I listened to Journey in my high school days (late '70's - mid 80's). I was BLOWN AWAY by Arnel's strong voice, and he sounded just like Steve Perry!❤️ Their music took me back to a wonderful time in my life, when life was so much better than it is today!❤️

I remember all those yrs ago, when they found Arnel right here on KZfaq. Everyone was like, "no way! It will never work without Steve!" I love SP, and I still miss Greg Rolly too, but Arnel sings every bit as good as Steve, and IMHO, sometimes better.

@@dbsti3006 The band was dead and was history before they asked Pineda to join. Even the original frontman was done with the band then they were hopeless. Then came the what you called the Karaoke singer and dug them from the grave. And by the way Karaoke singing is not easy have you tried it yet

@@cristobal697 Go check out the new albums where he isn't imitating the old singer. He does sound so different when not imitating steve. There are also videos of Arnel immitating Axel rose from guns and roses. It sounded so legit.

@@cristobal697 Steve Perry is only one of many many other voices that Arnel Pineda can copy. Their new albums don't even try to make arnel sound like steve at all. the latest albums are his own voice now.

If aq si arnel tigilan q na kaka kanta mg lintek n journey na yan. Di man lng nya naisisp paanu sya binabastos ng mga member nyan. Kung iisispin tama nmn din pla sila kundi dhil sa journey wl sya kasi ni wla sya sariling sound ang music lahay copycat at kinakanta nya lng lhat journey song. I've had the privilege of watching arnel pineda live in an event. The venue was small becauae it was for a party but he performed like it was a concert. It was really amazing to hear him sing live. He was everywhere on stage, interacting with the audience.

Declining is not a word to describe Arnel's voice.. ageing is one of the factors plus a lot of singing engagements...maybe i should call it tiring..than declining..afterall his voice is still there..and i am still proud of my kababayan..he surpassed what his predecessors couldn't...and he's still number 1 for us... Journey is still Journey..thanks to this bravest man who were bashed so many times yet still giving us goosebumps and happiness not just as Arnel Pineda but as a Journey Frontman... ❤✌️🙏@@SueKay-rq1lr

look at the quality of the sound from a PA, all instruments with clarity in a stage not so easy to make it so well balanced sound. In Brazil i certanly buy this show. A Iconic band with iconics songs in a high quality PA system with high prepared audio staff like that... what a Dream!

Thank you, Arnel for your years of dedication to the band, Journey. I can recall when Arnel first joined Journey in Steve Perry's as a frontman. Wow, you remain with the band to this day 👏 Also, thank you for recognizing service members 🙏 because loving a military 🪖 man is not easy, too many deployments, but it is part of a job. The best part now is retirement after 25 years. God bless 🙏

Yes beautiful. Arnel you are doing a great job. You have nothing to prove. Just sing those songs with 'feeling'. You clearly have a special gift. No need to jump around. Hope you guys will still writing some slower song ballads..That's what people need now. I think that was Steve's gift is the feeling he gave people. ❤❤❤❤❤
