Went to the source of the Tugela River with the Orange Free State Mountain club in 1972 - on the way up to Sentinal cave dwe had a hail storm which eventually turned into snow. Spent a very cold night in the cave. Next day sun was shining but the winds were strong - climbing the chain ladder in that freezing wind was quite a challenge.
