Very creative use of the sapwood to contrast with the heartwood in your design. This is an extremely well designed and beautiful work of art.

Beautiful work and the tranquility of the sound as the wood gives under the hand of a true craftsman. To reinforce the short grain areas I think a nicely aged strip of copper or tin would only increase the aesthetics of such a piece.

Wow, impressive, most impressive! My father was a whittler I have the peach seeds he carved into monkeys and the miniature knives he made from metal.. I love watching the beautiful creations emerge from a hunk of wood!

I'm coming in on this about a year behind your work. I've subscribed and look forward to your other work. Not really familiar with the ASMR label. People who have natural inclinations for handcrafting and woodwork, like myself certainly experience an undeniable, internal, sympathetic response and enjoyment seeing the processes, physical actions that are being done by another, especially a master artisan, as thoroughly enjoyable. I suppose this is why so many people become enamored of virtuoso musicians - especially during age of Rock & Roll for guitarists and other band member performances. With woodwork and handcrafting, seeing the process being performed by experienced people must stimulate the mirror neurons and feed the viewer's brain with a tiny sample, or dose of the biochemical process happening in the artisan. Your skill in capturing key moments of the process, and framing and finally editing the video all reveal your skill and mastery level in the necessary pre-production planning and mental foresight. Yet more range of skills in sharing, compassion, teaching. Wonderful stuff. Thanks again. 1-1-2022

Amazing is too little to say !!!? I am just wondering, whether the handles won't snap off since it is all end grain, where it meets the bowl, which is presumably heavy. A twisted fall could ruin the handle??
