Magnus is a music composer, record producer, songwriter and a creator of transmedia entertainment. He has composed award-winning soundtracks for hundreds of hours of feature films and TV shows and has had hit records in his work with artists as diverse as Shakira, Lenny Kravitz, Pulp, The Darkness, Massive Attack and British pop bands from The Spice Girls to The Sugababes. Magnus created and produced the hit music-driven animated TV series Freefonix for the BBC and is now working with some of the all-time greatest comic book creators in the development of an online gaming universe. He didn't go to college.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)

Hi. What's the title of the music Mr Fiennes played here using the bananas? Who's the composer?

Just in case this is a serious question, as Magnus said in the video, it was Beethoven and it was the extremely famous opening of his 5th Symphony. Also featured in other pop songs like "Roll Over Beethoven" by ELO. Ludwig von Beethoven was a prolific and timeless German composer from the late 18th and early 19th century. He is also famous for losing his hearing but continuing to compose works such as his 9th Symphony, which is pretty much performed daily somewhere in the world

Beethoven’s 5th is also known as the ‘Fate Symphony’, whereas the 9th is known as ‘Ode To Joy’ and used as the European Union anthem.
