Hi Jess - I enjoyed coming along on your business trip. I was also going to suggest laying your athletic shoes on thier sides with the heals on opposite ends (like shoes come in a box) to help with the bulkiness.

I enjoyed your video. I'm happy days of attending conferences are behind me. It was strange for me to be alone in a hotel room. My husband & I have always done everything together. I've always found packing for travel to be a challenge & part of it was the shoes! I have a thing about comfortable shoes and was always worried about that. Thanks for sharing your experience with all of us.

I enjoyed this - I travel 3 or 4 times a year and I always forget one thing - usually my shampoo. I do like the bag just for chargers, have an IT makeup bag I don't use and I think it will be perfect for my ipad and phone chargers. Another thing I do always take is a pair of cheap slide sandals to wear in room, when going for ice, etc. They take up very little space.

I feel like I always have an issue with those plug in on lamp or furniture. Either they don't work at all or if you are using a plug-in charger they flop around in the plug in. I will say Best Western's work great!
