My grandmother chose to stay with my grandfather, who was an alcoholic. They were married over 50 years, and he only became a Christian seven years before he passed away. But my grandmother often said that those seven years were such a blessing to her and the greatest years of their marriage, and she would gladly do it all over again. She was so thankful that she never left him. What a wonderful testimony you have, and what an inspiration to those who are fighting the same battle you did.

100 % true account. I have known them since the mid 2000s. When I first heard of Mark's repentance I wondered if it was really true. I later found out that it was. Their lives are a great display of the greatness of the one true God, the Father of mankind's only hope - Jesus Christ.

Wow, wow, wow. As a divorced mom of two this video really spoke to me. I wish I had the faith and commitment that she had. My ex and I are good friends and he’s remarried, I have a lot of regrets but I can’t go back in time. If you’re about to divorce please reconsider, it’s not always the answer.

This story is about a marriage, but it clearly has so many applications outside of a marriage scenario. I can apply this to my job situation too. God does not want us to take matters into our own hands, but to trust Him and let go of trying to control the circumstances to allow Him to do His work, both in the other person and in OUR hearts.

One thing that's unfortunate too is that, after all the angst over choosing the right spouse, people kick themselves for "picking the wrong person." I guess part of getting married is being prepared beforehand that the person you marry may very well change SO much, and so sometimes the "right" person ends up being the "wrong" person anyway . . . but being called to persevere in any situation is just something believers must do.

Even now 2019 this video is speaking volumes to me...husband estranged for about 3 yrs...married 14 yrs..Crack addicted spouse...me praying off and on...the next minute wanting divorce..thank you for being obedient in making this video..yes..you are a perfect example of...delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart ♥️ ✝️ 🙏🏾
