So, if she leaves, I need to step back and think about what I did wrong. Recognize my mistakes and sincerely apologize. I don't think so. Not happening. I showed her who I am and what my morals and ethics are. If she can't handle a relationship with a strong, moral, ethical, kind man,...she can stay away.

If she left let her go. I actually made the mistake of winning back a woman who broke up with me. I ended up marrying her and it was a terrible relationship because she was a unreliable unsupportive flaky person. She was unappreciative and the relationship was a disaster. If she walked away from you there's a reason why. It's not even necessarily you. I honestly regret my marriage and wish I would have just rejected her when she said she wanted to get back together. Perhaps I would have met someone who respected and appreciated me and someone who would have been faithful. If she runs hot and cold and hot again she has issues and you're not going to fix them. Just stay out of that. You certainly shouldn't try to get her back. You're in shock from the rejection and you are thinking that you will be happier by "fixing things" and getting her back but if she's the kind of woman you would come back she's exactly what you don't need. Simply wish her well and thank her for being a part of your life however small that part and move on. There are literally billions of women. You're bound to meet one who treats you better than her.

Also "show her you're not the same person who made those mistakes" who says that we made any mistakes? Women aren't the only ones of value in this. It is just as likely that she's the one who made the mistake. Assuming that the man is always the one who is responsible for the break up is just plainly sexist.

The problem here is that, if she made her mind to go away from you, it means she already processed in her mind what she wants and she moved on from you from at least 3-4 weeks ago. If you need to improve for her to gain back her attention, it will eventually break again. You might win her back but it won't be like before I guess.

The great film The idea of you encapsulates how deep meaningful relationship can actually work after an issue is encountered. People can be genuinely scared especially after being hurt by a previous experience, & you have to let them go if that’s what’s necessary. As in the film & I appreciate that it is a film, as we call it in UK, a movie in the US, if it’s worth the investment, the lady will recognise it & return. As Solene initially does & then 5 years later, when people have gotten more mature & there’s greater clarity, the guy Hayes Campbell does. It can work IRL, I waited a lot longer than 5 years although I met a lot of other women, but none of them were like my Tia. The right woman is worth giving the opportunity to. 😃👍

I applied the No Contact Rule after some flaky behaviour earlier this year 2024. After exactly one month she called me up to say ‘ I just wanted to say hello & how are you? ‘. Now the relationship is back on an even keel & she knows that flakiness is no longer entertained. You got to lead as the Man & only a lady with integrity will recognise this God created order & follow your lead. In life, people mess up. She’s learnt from her time of doing this & we are a lot closer. Mess ups are an opportunity to establish expectations & what you will not entertain. If you can go forward with your lady, especially as with mine, whose a special lady, its well worth the experience.

Sorry to say this Anna but the overwhelming feeling I got from this monolog is a huge sense of female entitlement.
