You have potential, but there is a couple common rookie mistakes here. First of all, look for the best quality for your base footage. Unless you want to integrate them into the video, there should be no subtitles either. Since you can always re-add them yourself where necessary, it's best to go without for the base footage. But most importantly: doing weird shit with text is probably the #1 rookie mistake. Everybody just wants to be creative and have their own trademark or whatever.. but just ends up creating some of the most annoying and hardest to read text ever. Text that moves around to make it extra hard to see where words end? Yeah, im sure that's a great idea. If you want to force people to focus all their intention on the text thats jumping all over the place, instead of the video you put together for them to watch.
