Temptations face us and challenge us at some stage in our lives in many different ways. No matter how big or small, they may sometimes be difficult to resist. Drawing on the word of God, by remembering a simple verse, can help you to stay away from wrong, gain the strength you need and do what is right

This is really relevant because I’m dealing with starving, eating a lot really fast, and throwing up the things I drink when I’m not eating. I don’t know how to get out of this cycle. Either food becomes an idol or I don’t eat, and when I’m not eating I’m too exhausted to do homework or my daily activities and when I of starve my parents force me to eat, and if they force me to eat I’ll throw up on purpose because of the guilt. It started because I felt like God wanted me to fast but I didn’t know how long, so the fast went on and off for a month and a half, now things are really complicated and my family is concerned about me. I’m trying to make food less of a big deal but honestly I don’t know how to fix this. I tried to eat without caring about the food or obsessing but felt guilty about being hungry. The gluttony started because I wasn’t eating for so long but I still feel terrible and like God is holding a grudge against me. Now because of the binging I feel like I need to starve or I’m a shame to God. I just want to be able to eat like a normal person without thinking God wouldn’t want me to eat and knowing that my mother, aunt, dad, and grandmother commanded me to start eating again. I don’t know how to bring this to God because it’s my fault and I don’t know what to do. I’m only 13, I need prayer or guidance.

“Once saved Always saved, is it true? Or is it not?”- (please read here to find out!) (Romans 11:17)- “*SOME* of the people of Israel-have been broken off. And you Gentiles, who were branches from a wild olive tree, have been grafted in. (Romans 11:19)- “Well,” you may say, “those branches were broken off to make room for me.” (Romans 11:20)- “those branches were broken off because they didn’t believe in Christ, and you are there because you do believe. So don’t think highly of yourself, but fear what could happen.” (Romans 11:21)- “For if God did not spare the original branches, he won’t spare you either.” (Explanation: If God would cut off a branch that originally started and grew with the tree from the beginning (the Jews), He will definitely cut off a branch that was taken from another tree and recently added on (A Gentile).
