this is really good. I am more of a specific detail type of person and I love using word choice is this bad? Also what was your max word limit, and how much did you use?

no, using good word choice is great! for the common app, the word limit is 650 words. I used around 550.

you're such an inspiration! as an international student, scholarships are still a possibility? I dream about studying abroad, but I don't have a good financial situation. what are the alternatives?

Yes, there are a lot of scholarships offered to international students and if you are not in a good financial situation, applying to certain privates or Ivys will get you a full scholarship.

I need help..i am self studying for the ap chemistry....i am only using the prep book and practice tests and khan academy..if i understand all the concepts in the prep book..is it enough for the ap chemistry exam

Hi! I got a 5 on chem by self studying. On CB’s website, look through the standards they have for chem. I used that while following through prep books making sure I touched on each concept CB said I needed to know. That worked for me! Good luck

I too am self-studying, but not for exams. If you ever seek books for studies, visit *Open Library* where you can digitally borrow ebooks for free online reading. There, you will find loads of gems for reading. Loads of exam books there too. Membership is free as too digital borrowing. I was thinking about writing my common app essay about waking up with a stiff neck one week before my Spring concert band audition as my main topic. Then connecting that with getting placed into JV band instead of varsity band the previous year but overcoming that and later making varsity the next year and talking about how I love Computer Science. From your opinion, do you think that would be a good essay topic? Also, is it ok to write about an event that happened during the summer before your senior year?

Hi! I’m no expert but I would recommend sticking to just one of those topics for your personal statement. Also yes of course you can write about a super recent event

Congrats 🍾🎉🎊🎈 on the full scholarship. How do you feel about not going to Stanford or Harvard? You will do well no matter where you go to school. Vanderbilt offers full tuition to tilt the decision in their favor. I would not pass up on those universities a second time as you decide where to attend graduate school. Please update us; you have fans.
