I am literally so deeply moved, because of what you said: “Parents are the roof that protect the house, the leaves that shield the branches. Without the walls the roof comes crashing down, without the branches leaves flattern to the ground (…) Perhaps the world is nothing. When the leaves flattern to the ground, the wind scatters them, leaving no memory of their existence”. This vivid way of describing the position of parents who lost their kids is EPIC. It really does help to understand the gravity of the situation and feel the emotions you describe.Thank you for making this video!

Alla’u’abha dear friend! I’m a Baha’i from Macao, China, Hong Kong, China and Canada who had some physical problems that stunted my academic growth, I only did semester 1 of Bachelors. However, I just got accepted into a MA in creative writing by a uni in UK, they waived my BA requirement because my writing sample was good enough. I’d love to attend or teach at Harvard some day. Unity in diversity and independent investigation of the truth are my favorite Baha’i values.

take advantage of all of the opportunities presented to you. join clubs, take up leadership positions, and enter contests. above all, do what YOU want to do

Just start a club of anything to help community- with 3 friends and grow it all 4 years. Ivy’s love lots of volunteer hours so find 1 organization and devote 4 years to it and be a leader by junior year. Find any kind of internship by sophomore/ junior year--it can be small. Take 2 AP in freshman and 3 in sophomore year etc and keep that GPA up--what ever it takes. Start taking the psat and get High scores on it. All doors open when you become a national merit finalist-scholarship, all colleges. Ivies also love tutoring youngsters-- so start teaching elementary kids 2,3 of them anything....music, reading,math. Ivies/ top colleges love starters, leaders, volunteers, high scores. Don’t do clubs only 1-2. Be a leader to start a new club--far better than winning contests.

I meant to say speech and debate, journalism, robotics all 4 years in any of these are considered intelligent activities by ivies;.... don’t make athletics your focus, definitely do it,
