I have never seen anything like this before! - Stockfish vs Houdini -TCEC season 17 Premier Division

Hello chessfriends and welcome to the season 17 of the TCEC. The tournament starts with a Qualification League where all newcomers will be featured, including new AB engines and Neural Networks. The best engines of the Qualification League will promote to League 2 and then to the League 1 and finally, the best placed 2 engines from League 1 will qualify for the Premier Division. The best two engines of the Premier division will play then in the superfinal. In the last season LC ZERO won the tournament and now all the engines have improved and we will have the best engine chess tournament in history.
Today I wanted to show you a great game by Stockfish against Houdini in the Richeter Rauzer attack.

The TCEC season 17 Lc0 vs. stockfish games are also interesting. It's a contrast in styles. Lc0 has become a fabulous positional player while stockfish is the greatest attacking player in the world.

Hello, at 8:29 can black sac Queen for a rook on g1 and claim that he has enough compensation with 2 rooks and a bishop?

I have question: In8:22what if black's queen takes white's rook?!I think,not only black could to continue the fight,may be it was better position for black!! Is'nt it?!

a queen and a knight against 2 rooks and bishop. will be interesting yes. it's not so clear that white has a huge advantage. maybe still slightly better but not so clear. good point.

@@luqjas87 Thank you for answering..even it would be better for black!..Q×Rg1#-Q×Qg1_Be6...everything are protected at king side of black,rooks will come out&double up soon&as we know 2rooks can be better than a queen,the bishops are powerfull in opengames specially at endgame than knights!

The position after Qxg1 Qxg1 certainly gives black good fighting chances in a human game. Stockfish gives a solid advantage to white here however : I got the eval to +2.06 after a few minutes (PV : c8e6 g1g5 a8d8 c2c3 e6c8 b2b3 d8d6 g5e7 h8g7 e7c7 d6d8). So between strong engines at long TC, this should be a white win. While It may nonetheless be a better defense, it's easier for an engine to see that white is clearly better in this line than in how the game proceeded.

But that's not what most of the chess players need ;)

That's the problem - there are less than 10% of higher level players and 90% are beginners or low rated players and Agadmator is suitable for them. That's why he has almost 600k subs and this channel has 7k. Not because this channel is worse, but because it provides higher level of chess analysis.
