Baron Michele Leone takes on the legendary luchador Rito Romero in a great match from The Hollywood Legion Stadium in the Los Angeles territory. This match has been around but in a lesser quality and many parts. This is my transfer from the 16mm film I recently obtained. This is one of my latest purchases that I was able to make thanks to the support of the KZfaq ads and DVD's I sell.

Two absolute legends in the ring. Good to see the Baron in action. He was a distant relative of Baron Scicluna. Maltese nobility. Bronco Lubich was supposed to officiate this important match but he got hold of some bad shellfish that day at lunch and was unable to answer the bell so to speak.

a real fight on the canvas, well disciplined, they knew how to fight, a very good fight to be honest, my respects to them. Rito Romero invented the famous key "la tapatia" in the forties.
