Trains arriving and departing one after another at the platform of JR Kyoto Station on the Kyoto Line, Biwako Line (Tokaido Main Line), and Kosei Line (weekdays, evening rush hours around 17:00 to 19:30). The special rapid trains on the Kyoto Line, Biwako Line, and Kosei Line, the local trains, the Kusatsu Line direct trains bound for Tsuge, and the limited express trains "Thunderbird", "Super Hakuto", "Kuroshio" and "Hida" are shown.
The limited express "Hida" is a new model "HC85 series" that started running with the timetable revision in March 2023. It was operated in a 4-car formation.
The 113 series, which will soon retire from Kyoto, is also shown. It appears in 3 places in the video.
"Thunderbird" and Kusatsu Line direct train (to Tsuge) arrive and depart from platform 0, and trains of Biwako Line and Kosei Line, which are direct trains from JR Kyoto Line, depart and arrive from platform 2 and 3. Numbers 4 and 5 are local trains on the Kyoto Line (local train bound for Nishi-Akashi Station) and local rapid trains from Takatsuki Station, and numbers 6 and 7 are special rapid trains and limited express trains.
